It's a hot breakfast cereal that's pretty bland until you put some salt and butter in it.

It's like grits, but it's wheat instead of corn.

    Farina.

I guess I'll eat some leftover meatloaf from the freezer.

Put it into a quesadilla with some cheese...yum.

2 red peppers. 1 onion, 1kg of chicken drumsticks and thighs. Herbs and spices added then cooked in oven for an hour. Home made white sauce and sliced mushrooms added and a further 15 minutes in the oven. Served with baked potato and a green salad.
I had intended to make this last for 4 days (while Jane is away) but made the stupid mistake of mentioning it to our daughter. I have little doubt that she and her partner will drop in tomorrow evening and help me finish it off.

The collaborative meal at work was Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Fried Plantains, and Potato Salad, washed down with a Breckenridge Brewing Vanilla Porter.

saw some thin striploin steaks on sale today reduced but still looked fine so i bought them and sliced them up into thin strips at an angle with a fillet knife

fried them up with some spices and added a bunch of broccoli then a bit of szechuan stir fry sauce and some maggi seasoning

it was good...didnt eat all the broccoli though..i got sick once after eating broccoli so i still have trouble eating it from that memory

They are delicious; usually served while watching football, etc.

The triplets were making some party food for us because we were staying with them yesterday. We were supposed to eat with them but their dad got home early and took them to visit the other grandparents so we just ate them for dinner.
