I'm going to make meatloaf with bell pepper, onion, garlic; and tomato/brown sugar sauce on top. Baked potatoes and rolls to go with it.
Lasagna...all from scratch...including making the pasta...started with a bolognese made with ground sirloin/mild italian sausage/bacon. Goooooood
It's freezing here and I was running a fever and sneezing all day, so I made a big pot of chicken soup. I love drinking the broth all week. If it lasts that long.
Comfort food for Mia and her cold. Chicken and dumplings with boiled mini potatoes, baby carrots, celery and onions. It was really good.

I finally got around to making salmon curry. All of the posts about curry had me dying over here. I put it in a crockpot and turned it on a few minutes ago. I didn't chop up the ingredients as well as in some pics on recipe sites, but I think it will be ok.
That's looks so good, expanse. And that's some fine looking salmon.I've never done curried salmon. How did it turn out? And the ribeye and shrimp dinner, Mama... I'm drooling.
Actually it's still cooking. I added extra vegetable broth while it was cooking, but it only looked like it need liquid. Now I'm letting it cook with the lid off. I probably won't try it until late now, because I've eaten in the meantime. It smells really good though.
I reheated the pork chops from yesterday. They were cooked in beer. I have huge baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon.
My 20 year old is home for the holidays and wanted me to teach her how to make sweet and sour pork. We just finished making a huge pot.
Expanse that looks delicious! Kids cooked and I directed. Basil pesto balsamic chicken with pesto gravy. Basil infused pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, red onions and balsamic, little shredded parm. Baby beets and fresh baguette. It was good!
That they are Aeri. Expanse, it is a plot to get you to visit! Last night was Quiche with a salad and baguette. Nice and light and an easy meal to make.
Fillet Mignon tonight. Portobello caps, home made seasoned fries, fresh bread, kale salad, asparagus and a red wine gravy. It was really good.
