What country of Origin is your last name from?

    Wanted to try an experiment; I do want to introduce myself but only by last name: O’Shea!!!! So if you can’t tell: Yes, my last name is Irish!! My Dad did explain to me that my family has Irish roots and “O’Shea” is 100% Irish for sure! But that leads me to my question: What is YOUR Last name and what country or maybe what place of origin did your Last name come from? Figure be a good way for me to learn where the people in hipforums have their “immigrant roots” from?

    My family immigrated to the US from Germany 3 generations ago. I advise against publishing your last names on a public forum.

    Oh sorry, yeah I figured asking people for their full identity or name might be considered pushing it a bit too far, but just a last name I don’t think would harm anyone I don’t think??
