I would say people in general, but there are a few I can stand. Nothing bothers me more than people who mooch though. The people who always want something for nothing... will drink your beer and ask to borrow money and let you pay for things without ever offering to do the same. Whenever I see this trait in people, I automatically can no longer stand them. A lot of my friends who turned into drug addicts are now like this, as well as my fucking sister. She is such a mooch.
I have been semi-homeless before. I have a newfound sympathy towards moochers, especially backpackers from New Zealand. Things that bother me: Bitter intellectuals (yeah, I can be one), the elderly and slow drivers.
yeah but it's different if you're not homeless. Like shit, if anyone buys me anything, or gives me anything, I always am like 'man that was nice, I owe them.' Not... let me get more and more out of them. Get what I mean?
Thing that bothers me most Is people who chew with their mouths open, and smack their lips when theyre eating. Just puts me right off my food
I don't really know that many people who chew with their mouths open. I must be lucky. people who LICK THEIR FINGERS when eating though..... especially chips or something, so nasty.
I don't like customers with zero spatial awareness. They don't seem to realize that they share the supermarket aisles with other people.
Fake people who pretend. Especially those who feel they have to act a certain way to appease someone or avoid hurt feelings. Or to protect themselves. Just be honest and real.
did you ever consider that sometimes it's just not worth it to be real. And it is a privilege to be granted someone else' self. The people who are "real" with everyone are usually just some particular ideal you have of real. (some lesser degree of tact than is normal, but not so little tact as to make you deeply uncomfortable, etc.) I'm basing this on the posts you've made in the past, and my observations of what people refer to as "real" people. who are typically just as fake as popsters, hipsters, and indie jackasses, but more broken in, so their creases are harder to find.
Trend followers. Particularly the subculture types. The ones that think they are different because they act like the goths or the emos or the hippies are the worst, but anyone who regurgitates the same old shit from x culture as their own thoughts is fine. That's why I hate so many of you =D
Sometimes it is not worth it to be real, I agree, did I ever say the opposite? But I am talking about people who pretend consistently here. I can deal with a little acting of course. I don't judge, but try to be real sometimes. I don't think my previous posts have anything to do with what I have said now, at all, because I am totally in a new place. So that part of the theory is null and void. It is hard to express in words what my feelings are and shouldn't have even written what I did above. I can either write a novel, because I could, or write two sentence and be vague, because anything in between does not do my sentiment justice. I am not even using my own definition of "real". Speaking about basic emotions, really. Like, pretending to like someone to protect yourself so no progress is made in a professorial setting. You just don't get it, understandably so, I'm just in a totally different setting than you, culturally. Can't even explain it, and will not try any further. Just can't. But those who live here agree with me, lots of pretending here. Even fellow citizens.
"you just don't get it" is a very popular defense. "you just don't get it maaaaan" of course makes it sound absolutely trivial and absurd. Why doesn't it sound trivial or absurd when you say it here?
COME TO CHINA, dude. stop. Or address my other legitimate points made. You do not get my experience in China. Or do you want to pretend you do?
I used the defense because it is true. How could you get my point of view, when you have not experienced what I live, and only read a tiny tid bit of info i have offered. And not even been to the place where I am having my experience? I don't expect people who have not been here to understand, so it is hard to write in a way that will make you understand. Okay? So saying "you do not get it" is totally legit. I am not some stoner telling his dad "you just don't get it". Sometimes it is perfectly acceptable defense. Just because it is used a lot does not decrease its truth or power or whatever. address my other legitimate points made instead of focusing on some catch phrase you feel is way over used.
I call them users, take whatever they can from you and over step their boundaries to ask for it. Those type of people turn me off as well, do they have no sense of pride in character?!
Fine, I will rephrase. I do not like people who consistently pretend around others in regards to actions and feelings. People who fake quite often, even in regards to matters which many consider trivial. Like laughing at someones joke even though it is not funny. I accept that some pretending is totally acceptable, we all are human. Most of what I say is totally up for interpretation and everyone has their own definition of words, I get it. I don't pretend my definition is any better and never have. I sense you feel that I act this way. I do not pretend to have some universal definition of "real" or any other word. So, yah, no need to over analyze my thoughts. Just ask me to elaborate.
You're actually using the defense in precisely the same way a stoned kid would use it. "You've never had this experience" You know what, there is something called analog. analogous experiences are how literature works, I don't have to be in dresden to read slaughterhouse five, and understand just how shitty ww2 was, and just what a terrible crime those fire bombings were. you are copping out. and you are now defending your copping out. your "legitimate concerns" sound just like those of anyone who has lived in LA for any period of time, Everyone there is fake too, guess what, it's not unique to china, it happens all over the world. Even in communities that are not geographically based, or based on some kind of static variable like a specific cultural, or national background. "you just don't get it" is how people say they're just too damn lazy to communicate, and you know what, sometimes it's okay to just be too damn lazy to communicate. but come on, you're defending it as something totally different, and that's silly.
Okay dude, knock it off. Seriously, anal much? You took this basic statement that I made, and are writing all this BS. Okay, I understand all words have different subtle meanings depending on person. I never acted otherwise. I am not pretending as if my definition of "real" or "pretend" are universal. And yah, I guess I am lazy. It would take a novel to write what I have experienced. So, to be lazy, "you don't understand unless you have been to China" is totally acceptable. If you don't think so, prove to be how you understand this great big country and my experience. And continue to not address the fact that I have said this, and other valid points in the past.
