only term I ever use for Blow is Coke, buts thats like everyone down here who uses that as a term for coke.

In the 1970's marijuana slang words were mostly: grass, weed, pot, dope, Mary Jane and wacky tobacy. Sex was called "balling". In the 1950's (BEATNIK ERA) it was known as TEA and REEFER. Remember REEFER MADNESS? Other slang words were: cannabis, sativa, ganja, bhang, herb, spice, oregano, bud, smoke, Mary Ann, Mary Warner, Mary Weaver (That's alot of Marys?) and mean green.


Fred Sanford (Redd Foxx), on the Sanford and Son TV sitcom show (from the 70's) referred to marijuana as: LATIN LETTUCE.

In THE SMALL FACES (an English psychedelic rock group) song: ITCHYCOO PARK, they refer to marijuana as: DREAMING SPICE. How cute?

What about starting another thread for marijuana cigarette slang words?
Jays, joints, sticks, roots, bones, doobies, scoobies, splifs, reefers and roaches. Marijuana, mixed with tobacco, are called "blunts", and supposedly very popular in Europe. Ever hear of The DOOBIE Brothers, or SCOOBY Doo. Could be hidden slang words for marijuana cigarettes there?

erm... we use... wacky backy, smoke, green, greeny, bud, skunk, res (uk term for hash), hash, herb, bud, spliff, doobie, j, joint, dope, reefer

 

aunt mays cough medicine, jah, nug, bud, snuk, dookie, weed, shnoobies, shnoodies, green, smoke, green-2-gray and mist (if your usin a bong or a vap).

From here, normal people use normal slang such as: dope, pot, weed, reefer & hemp but people like me use the word monopoly to get their point across . It works in every situation, man.

i call it drugs . in fact i don't think i ever call it anything else... maybe mary-jew-anna. it's just so fun to say "lets do some DRUGS, man!". and sometimes i say "gangsta" because my friend got this booklet from the anti drug people, and it's listed as slang, and i thought that was ridiculous. a joint is a "gangsta nail".

other people call it chronic, i think that's a cute word somehow. or pot... or herb... they're not too horribly creative. i wanna start calling it oregano, because our bus driver found a bag on the floor and held it up and said "what is this, guys, OREGANO? i don't think so. Come on!" you could hear the saliva dripping from everyone's mouths. what a dumbass the kid who dropped it was.
