What are your opinions on Aveda shampoo?

I use Aveda Men's Shampoo, and it's far from all-natural, but Aveda does good things for the environment so I figure it's good. It leaves my hair residue free, and after I use it my dreads seem to tighten faster! Of course, that could just be from getting my hair wet ;). What are your opinions on shampoo made by Aveda? Good? Bad? I've used it since I got my dreads and they're really well formed (although quite fuzzy).

I never used it but I think that's good. If it's working for you, continue using it. The only con seems to be residues and chemicals but even Dr. B leaves residues for certian people and chemicals don't kill overnight.

I agree, whatever works for you works for you! A good friend of mine has the most amazing set of dreads I've ever seen and she washes hers with herbal essences. Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable doing so but each to their own!

i used aveda when i stayed at friends and it seemed like it cleaned them really well, actually. it smells pretty natural and nice. i say if it works and doesn't leave too much residue it's probably fine.
