Are you: Male / Female? Are you: Gay / Straight / Bi / Confused? Are you: Single / Married / Open? Are you: Young / Old / Middle - aged? Are you: Black / White / Asian / Other? Are you Christian / Muslim / Jewish / Pagan / Other? Are you: Democrat / Republican / Labour / Conservative / Other? Are you: Long / Short / Bald - headed? Are you: Employed / Unemployed / Retired? Are you: Home owner / Renter / Nomadic traveller? - And does it really matter? At the end of the day, surely it is the Calibre of Character and Conviction of Conscience that is the most important element in the way we live our lives. We are all different - with individual status, standings, backgrounds, beliefs and values, Far from looking to categorise into division, we all here together, Embracing and Engaging with our "Mother, Father, Sister, Brother" and all aspects of our World family - for Unity without division has to be the way forward - methinks .... Or is this state of "competition" why we evolve?
Straight female. Daughter, sister, mother, light worker, massage therapist, hiker, biker, gardener. :daisy: But, wait....there's more!!! lol
Can't say. My connection to some thoughts is moody and very much a consideration for the moment. My current mood would answer the question as I am met in passing.
Female Straight Single Young White Christian I would rather not say Long Employed Renter Yes, it does.
No shame in being conservative, Piaf! The details of what peope think that entails probably differ per country (and even per person) Ok, I'll play too since I'm already in this thread. Are you: Male Are you: Straight Are you: Single Are you: Young Are you: Whitey Are you Other (technically) Are you: Other (socialism is the way! Are you: Longhaired (for now) Are you: Employed / Unemployed/Retired (kind of a mix of all three I work one day at a week so technically employed. I would say I'm a freelancer ) Are you: Renter I agree that what we do with all those traits, and how we perceive ourselves and others (and react to those perceptions) matters more. The power of we as a whole lies clearly in our diversity. Different minds and ideas come up with solutions one person probably would not (soon). Taking notice of different mindsets also increases a person's understanding.
Thanx for the comments Guys (and chicks) I guess I better put my bits in:- Male / Straight / Single (Divorced 16 years - so Single fits) Middle - aged? (well one hopes) White / Pagan / Other (free from a party, follow just cause) Long haired / Employed / Home owner For me, I embrace a diversity of culture in my educational awareness, I find it enlightening if not persuasive. In the end we can only be responsible for that which we do as individuals - and history will judge on the/any progression made in the living of how and what we do in our lives - be it financial, environmental or social Evolution may indeed require a degree of "competition" - and not always, Revolution
Are you: Male / Female? male Are you: Gay / Straight / Bi / Confused? Sexually hetero, socially androginous (all genders, bent or unbent, are acts people put on because they believe other people expect them too, or to have a job or a social life. and they all pretty much consist of the ego whining about not being the center of the universe. the only place what's between your legs makes jack, is in bed.) Are you: Single / Married / Open? Widowed. Love hugs but would rather not depress anyone by how much and how often I need to be alone. Are you: Young / Old / Middle – aged? Eternally young in the head. Chronologically 66 years have passed since my birth in 1948. Are you: Black / White / Asian / Other? Euro-american mostly, though with at least one indiginous ancestor. Are you Christian / Muslim / Jewish / Pagan / Other? Very much other. Nothing can stop nonphysical things from existing. Nothing can make them what anyone wants to believe. Good or bad. Are you: Democrat / Republican / Labour / Conservative / Other? Lets put it this way, I make marx look like a conservative. (i like to consider myself green too, but EVERY ideology is smoke and mirrors) Are you: Long / Short / Bald - headed? All true selves are physically amorphus. (i am what fuzzys would call a grey muzzle.) Are you: Employed / Unemployed / Retired? Tired and re tired. My va pitance keeps me fed and sheltered. Are you: Home owner / Renter / Nomadic traveller? Room in a house with other fuzzy crazeys. - And does it really matter? Absolutely not in the least. Competition is a lie we've been taught to tell ourselves. So is hierarchy. So is gender. (what we do have a responsibility to, is ourselves to not screw up, whatever kind of world we might actually want to live in) The world of human society is the statistical sum of how all of each of us lives. There is also a real universe beyond us, who's nature is a diversity we cannot kill or intimidate. And because we cannot, it is always there to give us hope, however painful or simply frustratingly annoyingly and inconvenient, is at times, the price of its being so.
Are you: Male / Female? Male Are you: Gay / Straight / Bi / Confused? Straight Are you: Single / Married / Open? Married Are you: Young / Old / Middle - aged? Conservative, would be Republican in the US. Are you: Long / Short / Bald - headed? 5'8", 165 lbs, full head of greying, wavy, hair. Are you: Employed / Unemployed / Retired? Retired Are you: Home owner / Renter / Nomadic traveller? Home owner - And does it really matter? To me it does. Do not care about anyone else's opinion.
i am also a figment of my own imagination. that lives in a parallel universe. on a small green planet. in a distant galaxy. i believe in the wind. the way it lets the little plant spirits dance between the leaves. and even the branches to sway.
