    The last thread was closed for whatever reason. So fresh start.


    I'm currently reading Nikolai Gogol's Dead Souls.

    It was probably closed by another mod for a reason.

    I don't really see why though. I loved that thread, I was actually looking through it to pick out some books to order online, and then I noticed that it was closed.

    I'm gonna leave this one open until whoever closed the other one closes this one too.

    Finished the two books I was reading today... that's what you get for having nothing to do and a bathtub to read in!

    Gonna start reading "Life of Pi" tomorrow... I thought that I might as well read it since it's a so called "classic".

    whatd you think of Diary? i stole a copy of it from my library. one of the most uniquely written books ive ever read.

    Assault on REason by Al Gore. pretty good. anti-tv. the whole middle part so far is an expose on the Bush admin. earth in the balance is good too

    I'm reading The Tin Drum by Gunther Grass. But it's at the library and I don't have a membership so it is slow going, only get to read it when I'm there.

    I'm also reading 'In Asia' by Tiziano Terzani. It's a compilation of diary extracts and articles he wrote whilst living in Asia from 1965 to 1995. It's fascinating and a good insight into many of the big political occurences here.
