What are you doing this summer?

I'm going to see Prince at Croke Park on the 16th June and arranging a camping trip with some friends up the Mourne mountains. We're gonna bring an ipod with 11000 tracks (and growing), some speakers, booze & perhaps a little marijuana to top it off great!

This summer, um, hopefully having a life, smoking some weed, going to Shambala and other stuff. But not til after my AS levels.

 

Hmm.. exams, then *SLEEP* at long last, then work, then festivals (Strawberry Fair, Cambridge Folk Festival & Shambala).

 

I got exams in June, then maybe Glastonbury or Beautiful Days or something.

I may be going to France for abit, either on my own or with friends; ain't sure yet. My friend is thinking of renting a Gîte out so me and my other friends may all stay there for Summer.

 

We'll have to swap numbers sometime soon, I'll be back in Cambridge for Strawberry Fair....

In my day, someone would have brought a guitar. We made our own entertainment back then...

in order: finishing college forever! :daisy: seeing toots and the maytals, possibly glastonbury festival, germany and poland on a college trip, camping in cornwall with some friends, secret garden party, belgium for some politicsy thing, beautiful days when i get a ticket, shambala festival (yay!), then hopefully bestival. possibly some sleeping in between, but probably not.

 

fixing up a house and garden I want to replace a rayburn and maybe get a really big greenhouse moving my present greenhouse , working some festivals selling lots of stuff.
signed up to help build eco village so will do that if they contact me

 

This summer? Hmmm... I don't know yet. Perhaps sign up for that intensive German course and go to the seaside or to the mountains for a few days, maybe to both. And try to move house.

 

I live in Brighton where it's summer all year round. I expect I'll spend much of the coming months grumbling about all the tourists.

Hopefully I will go to Brighton and perhaps chill out on a beach. I might try and socialise with the young people there. There is bound to be some good people around. I went last year and it was so Ibiza-like.

The setting of the sun leaving a beautiful reflection in the water. The party people all sat on a beach clicking their fingers and playing the bongo drums, while two people were dancing in the centre. I sometimes wish I could exchange my flat in Lewisham for a council flat in Brighton. But yes, I will go to Brighton for a day or so. I will also help my Dad with the Ice Cream business and perhaps be working on Notting Hill Carnival day. I will of course earn some extra dosh. But hey, I am helping my old man.

 

I will be visiting England! It sounds like a rather scary place...

Then I will come back to Spain and spend the rest of the Summer going out and getting plastered at night, and lying on the beach in the day ... I can't wait, there are loads of awesome parties and Djs and foam parties... ^_^
