What Are You Doing Right Now Or Tomorrow?

It’s a stressful holiday for some. I don’t enjoy it all that much because of all the money I gotta spend to make people happy

 

Just tried some Takis.....not very good! Not really that hot plus the flavour was pretty gash (Seabrooks hot crisps are much nicer).......aaaaaaaand about to order a big arse pizza.

 

well, quieter than some. you haven't met those people who have to tell everyone they meet "LOOK AT ME, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!!!! I'M CELEBRATING EVERY DAY BECAUSE MY BIRTHDAY IS SOMETIME THIS MONTH!!!!!"?

that must be a new rule. for at least 16 years up until now the rule was just that the same person can't post under multiple usernames in the same thread.

I just had my dinner, now it is digesting.

 

Right now I'm trying to listen to the latest recording from a band I used to be into. As recently as yesterday (or was it the day before? … lol) I gave another listen to something old of theirs, and it was good! The lyrics are creative and amusing if not poetic, and the guitars are interesting to me. So they're called "At the Drive In", and the last track I heard on this new album (I'm streaming it on Spotify with no shame or guilt because I bought it once before but then resold it to the store I got it from) was not an easy listen. The one that's playing now is a bit more my speed. I decidedly like them.

 

I kind of remember them being pretty popular maybe 10 years ago, ish?

 

Hopefully not getting shot by a Saudi Arabian, while Im working on the aircraft in the hanger..

 

I'm watching John Wick 3 (and wondering why, it's SOOOOOOOO stupid).

Interesting thread today, especially that black hole that sucked in a dozen or so posts. Sounds like folks are spreading discouraging words. Tsk tsk, that's not good for buffalo.

Just watched the Jungle Queen get crowned. Going to bed soon.

 

I remember them from before then. They were a cool emo band in 1999. Later than that, they released their "Relationship of Command" album, which I picked up a copy of because my friends (who I no longer hung out with) had love for them. I didn't really dig it at the time. But some time in the past 5-10 years I bought an mp3 of that album, and the other day listened to it. That's when I decided they're really cool. The lyrics seemed totally in touch to me, but maybe I was just in a good mood or something.

That happens to me! I get in a certain mood and music just sounds better.
