What are the laws where you live?

Are they lame , are they cool, can ya grow? If you go to NORML's website you can see what the laws for each state as well.

I live in Albuquerque, they leave you alone there. Anything under an ounce is a mere ticket and up to 99 plants is a misdemeanor. I don't have any problems there...

 

I live in California anything under 28.5 grams is chill. Soon it will only be a 35 dollar ticket.

Growing, isnt so chill with the law here.

There Lame Around Here, If your carrying a bag you arrested, your carrying a bong, bowl etc, They take it and your sited

here in IL especially her ein Lincoln you will almost always go to jail if you get caught with a bowl or something, and not very much green will get you put in a cell for at least overnight too and get you a good amount of probation too.,

they are damn strict about the stuff here,, they make a big deal out of it all, any of it, evne a little of it, several ppl are busted each week and house busts and searches and seizures no less often than every few days, and one plant will get you in deep deep doo-doo, you cant evne think about trying to grow one here, no one even attempts to do such a thing,

new mexico would be cool, i would die to live in a hot dry desert climate! !!!!!!!

OH it sucks bad in Alabama.

They treat u like a real bad criminal, just look at the NORML laws, you can get life if you have enough...

 

I love Ohio's weed laws, they are pretty Lenient about it.
You can carry up to 200 g and only get a misdemeanor and a small fine...and growing laws are some of the softest I've seen yet. Sale is a little harsher, but thats pretty much the same in every state, and Ohio's sale laws are still pretty relaxed compared to some.

 

where I live they are very anti drug, and any amount on you will get you a $400 possession ticket, and if you have alot they also get you for distribution which is another $800 added on I believe. The paraphenelia tickets I never got but i think they are around $200, and I dont think they give tickets if you are caught under the influence. I was caught walking around very stoned, and all I got was a nite in jail. No tickets or anything. But if you get caught with weed here you are automatically expelled from school too, unless you rat on someone else. Trust me, I know that last one is true

 

my dad got caught with an ounce and he went to jail for four years for uh..intent of selling i think wasn't the first time he was caught though

Law ? heh, people should really think, I know people just like you and i, fathers of families who would rather come home from a long days work and spark up a doobie then pound back 5 beers, does that make them a bad person ? well, in the eyes of the law it does, as these people have been cited, fined, arrested because of this choice.

I live in Ontario, Canada. I've never been arrested but I know someone that has. I'm not sure the amount he had though. I've heard from someone that the police gives you 10 seconds to drop all your weed lol, but i don't think so. Also a lot of people smoke right outside of school grounds, and theres no way the teachers don't know what they're doing, and i don't think you automatically get expelled like in a post above.

However, once police came to the school and arrested some people (Scary)
Also, some people were caught with pipes and such and they took that away, but they didn't do anything to them.

I think a lot of it depends on what police officers your dealing with. Then again in Toronto, some police division is undergoing charges of corruption because of making deals with drug dealers!

My friend lives in N. California and has a medical permit to grow. The other day he was pulled over for speeding with a large amount of his crop in the car. The smell was very strong and he was nervous and scrambled to show the officer his permit which he didn't even want to see. He didn't even search the car and got a warning to drive slower. When I heard this I almost cried.

It's amazing how we can live in the same country where the law varies this much. Most places he would have to go to jail.
