What are some things you don't like to do but still do?

Ironing clothes, studying, working out (although I never regret it afterwards)

 

Maintaining patience with deluded people.

 

Lots of things:-
- speaking with family.
- giving people I don't like/trust "another chance".
- business, when I feel like a break.
- football when I feel like it is bullshit. I even looked at having a big group do a takeover of a club. But I thought "the nonsense drives me mad".
- even web forums quite often.. occassionally its a very mild "addiction".

 

Waking up early, cleaning, making dinner, changing diapers, running, calling my grandmother, compromising with my husband, paying bills...

I'm sure there are more.

 

I often try to wake up early against my liking too.

 

Wake up before sunrise.

I'm a night owl with a day job

 

leaving the pub before closing time

 

be late for things.

it really pisses people off, its impossible to explain, but the more of a concerted effort i make to be on time for things, the later i am.

the only way i can get there on time is to go like an hour or two early and then wait until its the right time.

 

Smoking cigarettes, going to work, waking up and getting ready in the morning..I would really prefer to sleep until noon and never fix my hair or make up

 

Cleaning, hurrying to meet a deadline, going to bed late when I have to wake up early, procrastinating, being late.

things I don't like to do but do anyways? Damn near everything I do. Sucks being a grown up and living life. Just kidding kinda but for example... just today off top of head...
1. wake up
2.get outta bed
3.talk about money
4.do dishes
5. sweep, mop
6. cook dinner (I like cooking sometimes but not all the time)
7. text back my mom over n over
8. text my sister in law back
9. text other sister in law back
10. text mother in law back
11. sign up for snapfish
12. go outside in this damn heat to play w cason
13. clean
14. clean some more
15. having annoying conversations I don't wanna have
16. have to see the neighbor and be nice to him
17.clean litter box
18. write out checks
19. mail out bills
20. could go on and on....

sometimes life just seems to be about getting done all the annoying stuff cause it'll be over and you don't have to do it anymore

 

sounds pretty depressing when you put it that way.

1. you're alive
2. you have a bed
3. you have at least some money
4. you have dishes...
5. you have a broom and a mop, ok this is not totally convincing.
6. you're not starving to death!
7. 8. 9. 10. quit texting. get a cheaper phone plan and/or say that you don't have unlimited texts anymore.
11. sign up for snapfish - don't you get free pictures for that??
12. you were able to conceive and give birth to a healthy (i hope) son!!!
13. 14. get to work, woman.


i know we all have shit we don't like to do though. and you seem to have plenty of things on that list, no doubt.

when it comes to my job, i'm trying to turn over a new leaf so to speak, and get the shit i need to get done DONE, but to actually try and enjoy it at the same time. it's all about how you look at it. at my job and i'm sure many others, there is a sort of culture of "oh shit, we gotta be here doing this...blah." "ugh, it's monday" "ugh, i'm so tired"

stuff like that is contagious and it can feed on itself until you're just sluggish and "meh" all the time. fuck all that. i'm gonna try and be happier than that.

and i also just wanna be clear, this wasn't meant to be an attack or anything on americanterrorist. just my thoughts, mostly about myself

but I digress on the money part... I have no money til thurs... was sending out fine payments because by the time they get there the money would be there... I would prefer not to have to pay $150 a month in fines too

but neways yah.. my point was I do things I don't "like" to do all the time. because that's life n it don't matter if I like it or not.

$40 of it is just the cost of probation supervision every month from the county I live in (charge in another county)..
