what are the significant effects of lsd for you? do you believe lsd to be a tool for spiritual growth, or just a drug? do you think there are positive things that your lsd experiences have influenced into your life? or is it just a trip? what are the positive effects that lsd had for you?
??? surprised to see you ask such a question. I would have thought you already have a good idea about it, for yourself as well as a lot of folks here. Tool for growth if approached and utilized with that as a goal. it is hard if not impossible to negate or dismiss the experience, positive or otherwise. plus you know as well as I do that more often than not the most beneficial and positive experiences are not always apparent at the time and the full positive remnants of such an experience may not be made apparent until much later, even years in some instances. The most positive effect for me has always been that harsh, honest and unforgiving yet compassionate look into the internal mirror.
i thought it would be a good topic for discussion. i think that my first few lsd trips were very profound and caused me to search myself and question existence, and shape my perspectives on life. although many other times it was just a fun trip that left me feeling refreshed spiritually. so if lsd can have a positive impact on people's lives, what are they?
I know you have "wandered the landscape" of self discovery via many various venues over the last few years, so what/how has your LSD experiences impacted you in light of all your other searching? and nice to see you back regularly
when i dose these days it doesn't really cause profound spiritual experiences as much as it used to. more like I am refreshed mentally from the experience. i always felt like lsd was a good thing. remembering the feeling i was left with after some of my first trips, I can definitely say I like the influence that lsd has had on my life. I think that my lsd experiences inspired alot of thought within myself which helped shape my views on life. like a great tool for inspiring thought and motivation to improve or change. I can't help but feel like some of my experiences were so powerful that i regard them as being spiritual.
I see LSD as a tool for growth however I find the growth more in regards to understanding how consciousness operates and as a emotional and cognitive inventory, whereby I usually grow from appraising things from a fresh perspective. These aspects are probably the significant effects of the LSD experience for me. I have had what I'd deem spiritual experiences from LSD as well but rarely do I go into a trip seeking that and it tends to be just for a section of the trip when it does occur. I also have used LSD recreationally for a few raves and shows, but I use it that way sparingly.
