im getting my wisdom teeth out tommorow and for a sedative im getting an iv, im just curious wat they r putting in me, im guessing im gunna get oxy or maybe valium for my pain killer after the surgery
valium isn't a painkiller. you'll probably get vicodin maybe percocet if you're lucky. you probably don't care what the drug is in the i.v. because it will probably knock you out so you won't feel anything at all.
well i know im just curious as to was is getting shot into me and vicidon and percoet, r those forms of oxy? or a completly different drug
percocet is oxycodone vicodin is hydrocodone. they're basically worthless unless you have little or no tolerance because there's so much fucking tylenol in them.
well i wasnt looking to use them recreationally, but for the hell of it, ive never used an opiate lol so maybe...i dunno maybe ill have a little fun
They wont give you anything but a shitload of novacaine when they do it. Pay the extra and get the nitrous as well
That's not necessarily true. I know for sure when I got my wisdom teeth out I got knocked out then they gave me vicodin. Most of the people I know who get their wisdom teeth out get percocet around here, though. MMmmmmm...percocet
In the I.V. you will probably get sodium pentothal, a strong sedative, and probably Versed (midazolam), to relax you & to reduce any memory of the procedure. You may also get some mepergan in there, which is Demerol (meperidine) for pain and Phenergan (promethazine) for nausea. You will probably get a prescription for Mepergan Fortis, Oral Surgeons love the stuff.
