What age would you consider is an embarrasment to have not had sex yet?

Or even to have had sex already?

Would you say 20 years old?

How about if you've already had sex at 13?

    How can you really say?

    What do you all think?

If I read this right, then you just asked at what age I would feel It would be Embarrasing to be a Virgin.

The answer is never. Though I have had sex myself I would never think that anyone of any age should feel Embarrased to be one, I suppose it would be an Embarrasment to come people If they were non-volentairily Virgin. But beyond that I don't see why it should be a problem, If the individual does'nt wish to, Then thats their Opinion and Is up to everyone else to Respect that Opinion.

I agree with the others, but I must say that I personally would start to feel a little strange if it didn't happen for me by at least my second year of college... EVERYBODY has the chance in college. But I don't laugh at those that choose not to.

I agree with "never". I'm a happy virgin at 29, and I've even known guys older than myself who are equally happy virgins. I'm just laid back about it, and am in no hurry to do it. Whenever I meet that right girl is the time for me to lose my virginity. Until then, I continue with my research on sexuality to gain my sexual knowledge.

IMO, you should be proud of your virginity.. That's something you'll never get back.. I used to talk a man that was a virgin at 35 and it was driving him nuts.. The thing is he said he had emotional problems and couldn't talk to women but he would talk about wanting to fuck everything that moved.. You know those horny little dogs that hump your leg? That's what he made me think of, he really got on my nerves.. If you said anything to him remotely close about him being a virgin he got really pissed..

Some ppl wish they had waited while others are happy with being a virgin.. Anyway, wow I'm rambling haha..

In one sense I wished I could have waited before I lost my virginity. Having been molested off and on by two different family members when I was 3 - 8 fucked up my head. Thankfully during those years, my virginity was left in tack, but the emotional damage made me afraid of ANY male. Even my own father though I know he'd never do that to me. So at 15 I found the least intimidating guy that I knew I could kick his ass if I needed to and lost my virginity. It worked for me. However, it wasn't about love and I feel that if you are going to lose your virginity it shouldn't be to lose your virginity. You should want to give that piece of you to someone you love even if you don't last forever.

Yeah, it's kinda sad to think that in 60 years he has never had an emotionally intimate relationship, never had that companionship.

I think it would be more sad to be 60 and have only had countless one-nite-stands, tho.

I read somewhere that something like 10% of the population is basically asexual -- if they do have sex, it's because it's expected, not because they ever want to or even enjoy it...

To answer the question, I don't think you should be embarrassed to be a virgin at any age. I also don't think you should be embarrassed to have had sex at any age... That's not to say that I think it's OK for a 9 year old to be sexually active, but I see that as a sign that they have some major emotional issues, something they maybe need counselling for, not as something they should be ashamed of.

why would not having sex be an embarrasment. Im 15 and a virgin. and at my age if i were to be just having sex, i'd know it wasnt real or true. i think u should have sex when ur ready for the consequences.it should never be an embarrasment.

for me personally, if I were a virgin in my mid 20's, I'd be very frustrated. But that's just me, different strokes for different folks.

agreed, i think if i made it to 25 i would be getting pretty uncomfortable not knowing what a woman feels like.

Of course i dont have to worry about that :)

Funny thing with me is that I've become less and less frustrated as I got older. A few weeks before I turned 20 was the worst that I was SO looking for a girl to have sex with, but as soon as I turned 20, I was like, whatever.

Not to say it's wrong for people to lose their virginity at a young age, though. Far from that, I'm fully for premarital sex, teen sex, whatever, as long the two parties involved strongly believe it's worth it. With proper education, sex can be enjoyed by various people of young and old.

I've always felt that there's something creepy about people above a certain age who are still virgins for no good reason, couldn’t say what age exactly. When I think of sex I think of it as a great source of affection (not to forget about the sticky fun side of it), so unless someone is disadvantaged some way, ugly as hell, no social skills etc... I wonder what is going on that they reject people around them or deny themselves that aspect of human contact. Perhaps people build sex up to be significant in a ways that it isn't? Though it is significant.

This thread has given me much to think about.
