The student walkout really encapsulates the entitlement syndrome that these kids suffer from and probably learned from their parents.

You dont deserve shit, youre not special, stay your ass in school.

No one with a brain cares about your childishness.

What about working on a solution there to address that deficiency.

Instead of attacking legal gun ownership.

Steven Crowder had a Parkland school student on his show that is pro 2nd amendment.

And on the day of the walkout there was some video of kids with Trump and NRA flags at a school basketball game.

The left always likes to paint a picture that the status quo is crumbling and on its death knell and that soon the lefties will rise up to change the world.

As has already been pointed out gun control hasn't helped decrease crime in Chicago. So its a moot point for this thread.

It was suggested that Boston could be compared to Chicago. So are we looking at the same root problems there? Poverty, lack of education, same racial demographic? The crime rate appears to be similar. They are both Democrat governed. So we do find some commonalities to consider.

Also it could very well be that we have a very lacking law enforcement capacity.

 

Police officer is a hard job. My hats off to those men and women.

There was a DOJ report released detailing systemic abuses within the Chicago PD. Poor relationships between the police and the community they serve definitely play a role

 

But if you really cared about the kids, why are you only focusing on that one aspect?

Lets be precise with our language and reading comprehension.

I never said you said it was the only way.

I just said you are only focusing on the one aspect, gun control.

If you really cared about the kids like you say you do you would be focusing on all sides more evenly. Its also more realistic to effect change in other ways than gun control because gun control is so controversial.
