How long has it been raining over wherever you are?

 

more or less a week. Cumbria had rainfall you only get once in a thousand years, though the boffins are saying these events will become more common in the UK with global warming.

Brighton has been truly icky recently, it's blowing a hooley outside my halls window.

 

What's a hooley?

 

A howly wind, also known as a gale. Whatever it is, it's drowning out the awful kareoke night going on next door...

 

Oh I like that...there's a fine hooley blowing down my chimney.

 

The stupid rain at night isn't helping my iansomnia problem. Grumble
