Seems like they have only had the site up for about a week or so....they are only three weeks into filming. But its at Wake University....so that's kinda cool.

Plus we'll get snacks and drinks for the day. Think they would mind if I wore no shirt and just painted my tits?

what were you in?

I found out one of my friends was an extra in Mr Destiny. Not sure if I have ever seen that.

 

All kinds of TV shows and a few movies. This was in LA, its like the easiest way to quickly make money there

this was in 2000, but things like Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Freaks & Geeks, Spin City, lots of shows I never even heard of

all kinds of different things. I had some fun interesting times, but also had some of the most uncomfortable and dismal days doing it

Well sometimes you would be around just a few extras, and sometimes you would be around literally 1000.

Most of the miserable ones were the huge calls. I was an extra in that movie Rockstar with tons of people filming in an abandoned oil refinery and you had to be there around 6 or 7 in the evening and stay outside all night in the cold and go home at dawn, go back and do it again the next day...I think there were 3 nights of that, and I felt such dread going in there the 3rd time.

Some other set was being filmed in an abandoned hospital and this crazy old lady came up to me with filthy clothes and a runny nose and started talking to me and getting all mad, then she made friends with this other crazy lady and they were showing each other pictures and stuff, and stealing fruit

I got to be in a lot of interesting buildings and learned alot actually

but keep in mind I was surrounded by people who were "going to be stars" which is annoying too

 

i did it once. it was hellish, but there was free food.

That would be annoying. Though I have to say I love crazy people, they intrigue me
