sorry, but i have to flame you for that. you and other people are saying that he was asking for it by starting fights and staying when not welcome, but he was really only asking to get his ass kicked or thrown out of the party, those would have been acceptable. take control. if someone's out of line at your or your buddy's house, get him the fuck out of there! but you stole his shit. maybe that's the only way you figured you could get him back, but man up. i've had things taken from me before and it sucks. you guys that are thieving shit have to say it's ok cuz of this and this, but you are just making excuses. i'm not even saying i haven't done ignorant shit like this myself, but if you guys take a step back, you will realize that was not cool (you may already know it, that's why you have to come up with justification)

as for the running away part, i guess i'm with you on that. like someone else said, it's not like if you stayed no one would have gotten in trouble. even if you got busted too, your friend would still be in the same amount of shit. you didn't narc anyone out or anything like that. so for the people saying you weren't man enough to stay with your friend, your friend should be man enough to take the heat for you both since he has to take it for himself anyways (i know he did)

stealing weed= fucked up period. No matter the situation (unless he stole it from you and you stole it back which is not the case) it is never cool to steal, especially weed. As far as I'm concerned fucking with another man's ability to get high is one of the worst things you could do to em besides putting their "piece" through a meat grinder.
