I've been to Macedonia too. The best places to go are definetely Ohrid & Struga.

Because of the fine nature. You can easily find pictures.
Krusevo and Mavrovo are winter-tourism places, but if you have time and like mountain nature go.
Dojran has a lake and very healthy enviroment - people go there to heal sinusitis etc. I love Dojran, it just doesnt have a good night life.
Strumica and Ohrid are fun to visit if you like parties.

If you like mountain climbing, go to Solunska Glava. It offers a view to whole Macedonia!!!
Yes, it's a high hill in a small country... :)

    I'm native. You welcome.
Btw I've never been to Slovakia so if I go one day I will have who to relay on, ah? :)

Yes of course ;) When your plan will be close to reality, just tell :)

Can I also ask you about the other things ? Is there big weather diferences between the parts in Macedonia ? For example in July, when I will start my trip.
Also, with which languages can I come to an understanding with native people ? I always want to make a stand in Albania and i heard that Albanians speak only their native language.

Oh, Albanians...well I cant say cuz there are some who speak only Albanian, some have VERY bad macedonian....I guess english or serbian would be the smartest talk.

The weather is a little bit complicated here. Today may be sunny and than tomorrow rain all day... But basicly all of the parts have the same temperature (except ofcourse the high mountains) which varies from 27-37(app.) in July.
    Glad I helped!!!
Whish you a GREAT time in my country!!!

Thank you very much Watermellowny (for everything)! I believe that it will be a great time ! Two years ago I hitchhiked to west Europe, but I mean, that this road will be better.
What do you think ? How are the Macedonians ? For example Slovaks can be little bit jealous, but they are also very hospitable and friendly. You will see, if you come ;)

Oh, and if I will go to the mountains, can I also sleep in the forest or in the ruin of castle without trammel ? Are there a big problems with it ? In Slovakia, if there´s a not reservation it´s OK.
Sorry, lot of questions. But I´m enjoying :)

NO, I dont think you'll have a problem - just some passenger might think you are an Albanian refugee or a drug criminal hiding woods, because we have them. But, you'll explain :)
However, there are mountain houses which will welcome you very nicely, because Macedonians are very very nice people. :)
Our flaw is that we whine a lot...since you asked.

    enough? :)

    :) You´re great wizard ;)
Well, I started laughing when I was imagine me and my friend like a drug criminals in the woods, however, I hope that we´ll haven´t got a problems with these forest friends.
Hmmm...I have on my tongue something else, can I.... ? :))
I´m also interesting how are the prises ? How much cost, for example, bread or other basic groceries ? Or price for taxi, bus....or in these mountain houses ? I promise you, that these are my last questions !!!! :)

Bread is 1/3 of a Euro
A night in a mountain house not more than 4 Euro
Alcohol, cigarettes, food - cheap. (Make sure you try our bear "Skopsko") :D
So, dont worry about money, just come over here, and have fun

That´s sounds good. Thanks for beer tip ;) If you will come to Slovakia, try Šariš. So the price of inter-city transport can be OK ?
And where are you from mellowny ? How are you ?

Sure, the price of the transport is niglicable. But since the area of the inner city is so small it would be funnier if you go by foot everywhere - noticing other things you would pass by if you travel by car/bus. :)
I am from Skopje, the capital and feeling soo tired from the party yesterday[IMG]
