I am a really small and petite girl. when i started college in the fall i was 5'3 and 110 lbs. the first month or so of college was depressing for me, and i didn't eat a lot and i was always upset. things got better for me, and now i'm fine. i eat at least 3 meals a day plus food in between. today i came home for christmas break, and i weighed myself on a scale. it said i weighed 96 lbs. i was shocked. i thought i was the same weight, if not maybe a little more than i was when i started college. I am really scared about me losing that weight. i am not anorexic, nor do i have an eating disorder. i am eating regularly and everything. i just have no idea how i lost that much weight in that little of time. if somebody can help me find out what is going on, or give me some advice what i should do, i would appreciate it.

First of all.... check to see if the scale is correct! Sometimes scales can get off and need adjustments, mine is notorious for that. Take something that you know the exact weight of (or very close, perferably more than 10 pounds) and hold it while you weigh yourself. Then weigh yourself without the object. Subtract your 'weight without the object' from your 'weight with the object' and if the result is close to what the object is supposed to weigh then the scale is correct.

So anyway I hope it's only the scale playing a prank on you. Check back and let us know.
