Had my first flipflop walk of the year! Its still chilly out, but it felt so good to be out of socks and shoes.

I never go without shoes, except in the house.

What?! You are missing out my friend.

I LOVE being barefoot. Inside, outside, my nekkid feet have walked many surfaces, some pleasant, some not. I've got some tough soles on my feet, that's for sure, and no matter how hard I scrub them they still look dirty! :D

However, I do wear shoes when I have to, and tend to have a shoe (sandals mainly) obsession even though I would rather not wear any, if that makes sense. Which, I'm sure it doesn't, but oh well.

I've had dog poop stuck between my toes before. Let's just say that was not one of my pleasant experiences in life. :p

I've stepped on nails before. And glass. Not fun. But man, feeling the Earth beneath your feet, the tickle of soft green grass, mmm, pure bliss! And mud, oh I love having bare feet in the mud! So nice and cool!

glass is terrible, especially when you get a little piece stuck in your foot and you have to walk around like that for days before it finally cuts your foot enough to fall out. Fun times.

I just take a needle and dig the glass out. Actually, more like my husband does it for me. I get too squeamish. [IMG]

Naked feet are the way to go all year round. Although they do take a while to warm up after walking outside in 30 degree weather.

I'm always barefoot outdoors. Mud between the toes feels soothing. :)

my girls have been wearing their flip flops on and off all year long. I always tell them, hey, its to damn cold to be wearing them, but they both reply, nah, everyone is wearing them............oh well must be the california weather. (who knows)

as for me, I am definately not a flip flop wearer or a barefoot person. I can not stand the feeling of my bare feet on cement, dirt, grass, etc.
