Weee!! going to work!!

wake up at 6am every morning M-F work from 7-3 bussing tables.. Weeee!!!!

 

bussing tables?

 

I'm sure they meant "Busting" tables...

 

no he means bussing.

like cleaning the tables off and putting all the dishes and food in the bus tub.

he's a dish boy.

 

Sounds very happy with it too.

 

Or very sarcastic.

 

Maybe he is a buddhist, they rejoice in the simpler of life's tasks.

 

I always thought it was "busting" tables not "bussing" huh, well, you learn something new every day I guess...

 

I was a dishboy for a while.

It actually isn't so bad. It's steady work, which always makes time fly. Plus at times it can be social.

I remember when I worked at Cracker Barrel I would always end up talking to people.

A couple times some old people even came up to me, handed me a $20 and told me that Jesus loved me.

lol so it isn't all that bad.

 

I can see that being a decent enough job for a while, especially with such a positive outlook on it. talk to people, simple physical labor, and getting off work at 3 would be sweet.

 

I'd love to be off at 3. Incidentally, I'm supposed to be off at 2 today...let's just see how that rolls.

 

Ill be off around 4 or 5

 

I work 7 to 4... it's nice, I'm happy with it... Could be worse...

 

it always changes for me, id like to have a set sched though. Two server jobs now.

Haha, well, there is no shame in that my friend, no shame at all...

 

i sometimes get off at 3 or even sooner... a couple weeks ago i worked a 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. shift...


today i don't even go in until 5...

 

Im pretty much 8-5 on average.

 

well I do have school though. that ends this week, so then I'll be right there with all you working people.
