thinking about moving to golden valley and I am wondering how the legal and illegal weed scene is there?
You'll be fairly close to Cal and also you'll be amazed how many red neck looking good ole boys are tokers.
Quite good. Golden for a reason, just not as open as CA. edit: The legal scene has some issues. While it's legalized, and scripts issued, there aren't any dispensaries open. Shops that had popped up after legalization, were muscled by the Feds and made an example of.
Actually there are dispensaries in Green Valley/Sahuarita that are open. My uncle works at one. Medical pot is legal and you do have to have a card though. Recreational use however has not been legalized in Arizona.
It is technically only legal for medicinal use, but it's also not too hard to get away with from what I've seen.
Now if only they could improve on product quality and stop wasting water on trash genetics only to keep their tiered business model functional
I lived in Arizona from 1978 - 1983. Possession was a felony then, but we still smoked it. Can't believe it's legal there now. As long as you're there check into getting some peyote, it's one of the perks of desert living!
You can get it on the Navajo reservation, but on the Reservation alcohol is prohibited, except int he casinos.
