What's up guys, first post here and i had a quick question. I recently tried weed and i wondered if i could smoke while being on anti-depressant medications. i wondered if it could fuck up the effect of my medication, thanks guys
my man go ahead i tried that ane time and belivime was a great high just be carefull some medication react with the weed and make your blood pressure go to hell one time i took some painkillers laying on the house smoked and gonne to ride bicicle in the sun on the summer when i reached the forest on the campus i looked on my cd to see my faze and i wa with all veins popping from my face the my heart starts to hurt prety bad and collapse in the ground didnt blacked out but i tink i was going to die and the pain man dont know how my heart didnt explode
I've taken anti-depressants(ssri and maoi) and smoked weed simultaneously for the past few years and have noticed no negative effects from doing so. But now, weed is my only antidepressant.
iv heard from alot of people that anti depressants and weed help with people that get parinoid or panicy when smoking. someone even told me that taking xanax before smoking takes away almost all anxiety while smoking, i havnt tried it yet but plan on it this friday.
Yeah, as a teen I was on anti-depressants and smoked weed often. If you're taking Wellbutrin... that is a trip. I would hallucinate when mixing the two. Anything else will probably have no effects.
Zoloft was also good for anxiety on weed... keep in mind it prevents psychedelics from having the desired effect and also tends to turn people into emotionless shells, though.
erowid lists weed as a depressant i made a post about this in another weed forum, asking if weed could effect your moods and bring you down, but i didn't get any replies
i take prozac and smoke daily, there's no negative sides to the combination that ive seen while high although sobriety's changed; ive become a bit depersonalized
