I am finally going to break down and buy a new webcam. My 10-year old logitech webcam doesn't work on Win7 64bit,
just out of curiosity, out of these three here which is the better buy?

    • Microsoft Lifecam VX-2000 $20 (regular $40)
    • Logitech C200 $20 (regular $40)
    • Logitech C500 $35 (regular $60)

I don't really need a fancy webcam, however I am wondering if the Logitech C500 which has a higher resolution is worth the extra money?

Depends what do you need it for? Are you a big video chat person? If so, the the extra quality might be worth it. C500 is nice, I have used and I really liked it but it deff depends on what you need.

    edit:
Went back a few days latter and got the C500. Awesome webcam so far.
