We need better hate speech laws in the USA

Denying the Holocaust (done for no other reason than racial/religious)
Encouraging people to be violent to race of person
Using slurs in general such as fag or kike

Not that you should do prison time for saying fag but it's hate speech.

I'd support that as a racially rude term. Although personally I notice that cracker is always the go to for white people who want to compare it to ******. I can see it offends them so I would hope they apply that thought to others. For this white man even though it can be said he does not want it said.

It's not really the same but sure it's said by people who have an issue with their race. The history is not the same. It's a rude word but it does it carry the same oppression? No, it's not like anyone ever said a cracker is 3/5th of a person or that a cracker had to use his own drinking fountain.

As I said speech in general is not an arresting offense. As far as rap I guess it's how it's always been. White people say it and they are deemed racist. A black person can say it.

Laws similar to Germany regarding public displays and demonstrations of Nazi values. Which in America we apply to the KKK and the white power/ Nazi movement. They seem to think of themselves as different but all 3 seek essentially the same politcal goals.

If for example Charlottesville was flat out illegal it goes a long way to help America. It also does not affect "free speech" in theory just the public's right to their own free speech.

We have normalized it, that the is the problem. So lost in the ideal of America we loose what it really means. We all have ancestors who fought Nazis.

The first part is free speech but when asked to elaborate what he meant by cleaning out Washington D.C. he said “We’ll get the hemp ropes out, loop them over a tall limb

Different words have different degrees of hurt to them. It's not a sticks and stones thing. It's interesting to me some Americans are so passionate about defending Nazi's specificity. Always on the idea that they are so unimportant. Like you said who cares they are so few everyone knows the Holocaust happened. So let's let Nazis exist because somehow that is what American is about. It's just impossible to censor this. We have to allow it.

Yet they worry so much about the "violent left" and how that's a problem. People who say they are ANTI fascist. I don't really hear the same moral argument for their public displays. Even among people who own guns they feel their protest is violent and therefor wrong. So what is a gun for?

I think you are similar to other gun owners now in that you respect the principals of nationalism. You see in the alt-right that same love and protection of America. So you don't see what I call "hate speech" as hate you see it as red, white and blue America. The censorship you are concerned with is only that of loosing the gun and being forced to live in a mixed race and language society (the plan of the socialist left). You don't get it.

 

America is about free speech and built upon the the basis that you have the right to do whatever you want as long as you don't step on other people's rights. Saying that the holocaust never happened or calling blacks the N word does not step on other people's rights, period.

Key word there is violent. Unprovoked violence is never justified or right.

When you have people bashing people over the head with bike locks, punching out people, start riots, and pepper spray people simply because you disagree with them, it's kinda hard to not call it violent.

No, I do see it as hate. I just don't see most of what you listed as hate as something we can create a law and ban it as it will be a violation of the 1st amendment.

A loose gun is liable to fall apart because the srews, pins, and bolts aren't tight. So yes, I do fear a loose gun. As for living in a mixed society, I have no fear of that. I'm black and I live in a predominantly white neighborhood. As for a mixed language, you can speak whatever you want, but you should learn English as it's the predominant language.
