never tried 'em you should get Sleeman's Honey Brown or Grasshopper (by Big Rock Breweries I believe)
IPA is a style of beer, not a brand. It depends on the brand as there are some good IPA's and some shitty ones. If it's HopDevil, SN Celebration Ale, or Stone IPA, then I would be excited. Blue Moon is good for a commercial macro, but it's nothing I would seek out unless I was broke and wanted something halfway decent that isn't a lager. It's decent, but not a good example of the style (Belgian-style witber). It doesn't hold a candle to the real thing, like Hoegaarden, which is a fine example of the style.
i grew up 50 miles down the road from the brewery and its on tap everywhere... yuengling also makes a porter which tastes as great as any pussy i've ever had,... also lord chesterfield ale i now live in ny state and i see yuengling lager in all the grocery stores and some bars... they've done quite well in their marketing
There's a whole case of blue moon down in the basement. It's like one of those beers that nobody wants to drink unless there's nothing else to drink. It's the "drink this while I go get some more booze".......
Lord Chesterfield is all right. Anyways around here... there is so much Yuengling Lager on tap that at pretty much every bar it's just called "Lager". (I live close to the brewery too)
I am drinking Long Trail Double Bag tonight. Anyone ever had it? It's from Vermont. A tasty, strong beer.
I have the lager, the premium beer, the black and tans and the lord chesterfield all in the fridge right now. Got a variety pack. Hate the black and tans though... you can have them all.
