I am gonna win... I've perfected this shit. I even have the non verbal cues down pat.... I'm feeling confident about my betting ability, and I understand when to fold em.

I love Texas Hold Em! But every time I play for money I lose

 

I'm on a streak last weekend I was second last .... online I'm doing great ... we are only playing 5 bucks a head. No biggie.

well... since you guys are dying to know about Kool Aid .... I was second one out and I played shit and bet when I should've folded and folded when I should've bet.... I won a couple big pots but it was just not enough.

the only poker i've ever played was strip poker, and to be honest, i'm not really sure anyone knew how to play poker, or even cared.

dave loves to play texas hold'em, though. i prefer scrabble.

 

There are no real clues to hold 'em.

Little things you can pick up on.

If they look at their cards for very long, their hand probably isn't very strong.

If they bet too fast, their probably bluffing.

Hold 'ems a bad game if you don't know how to play. It's more subtle then 5 card draw because their aren't many showdowns. It's the little mistakes that will get you. Don't be afraid to fold on a bad hand.

The most important bet is on the turn. (4th card.)
