New to this forum, not new to the "culture" and entheogenic experiences. Hello All! When one actively "Sees" something, they try to make sense of it, drawing connections and observing intent. // Watching, on the other hand, makes no sense of the something. Petty details, observations, and mental chatter are of no use when "watching" something occur. I think the OP describing the importance of merely watching (or observing, witnessing) a particular thing without trying to make sense of it. Open your mind to the raw essence of the situation. Equally important is to See: make sense of the situation, such as a person's intentions, without watching (the raw essence of the moment). By differentiating the two and then applying them, one can gain a more accurate knowledge of the whole shebang. (no clue on the last bit, but I'm not one to say it has no meaning.)
but what if the watcher who would see, see not, for the act of seeing made them see the not, the sight unseen? did they see what Esau saw? I trust you are familiar with Esau Wood.
