hear me out now. I'm not denying the holocaust, or espousing an affinity for his views, infact i'm doing the opposite. I've always understood evil as an active choice. each and every human being has within them the capacity to do harm. life presents us with these opportunities where we can choose between good and evil, although most of the time it ain't exactly clear which is which, or if they're all just lesser shades of evil.* Now, Hitler was crazy. He thought that white people were descendents of space-people who crash landed on a comet thousands of years ago and established Atlantis. he was probably addicted to speed and was raised in an abusive household. i challenge anyone to look at his speeches and tell me that he was a sane, rational person. Hitler probably never even had the capacity to know right from wrong, his actions were the product of a sick mind and a sick society. if not for the extraordinary stressors of his time he would have died in obscurity. Stalin, on the other hand, was evil. He had lists and statistics. he had a sociopathological detachment from human beings and was driven in his pursuit of power and wealth. a quick survey of any boardroom in america will find several mini-Stalins. he was ready, willing, and able to wade through a river of blood and climb a mountain of human skulls to make it to the top. he wasn't crazy, except for in the all-american way. Hitler, in aggregate terms, probably caused more suffering. the suffering he caused, however, wasn't the result of rational thinking. And, in the end, doesn't that count for something. *morality is subjective to the individual, this is just my interpretation of good v. evil.
I'm sorry, but regardless of weather he was evil or not, we can never forgive him for what he's done, and trying to justify what he did is even worse
hitler was the poster boy for the nazi regime, he didnt run it, he just had great speaking skills, but in my opinion anyone who can support the things they did to people is evil
One of the greatest and most powerful leaders of all time. Sure I believe he misused his power/greatness to achieve some awful things, but that doesn't mean you can deny his abilities
good and evil are subjective terms. it would be fair for one person to say he was good and another to say he was evil . doesn't matter now though cuz he's fucking rotting in the ground.
I don't care, I'm not of Anglo-Saxon/Aryan bloodline, I'm not of Jewish descent, so why would I give a shit?
My Great-Grandfather was an Italian soldier in WW2. nuff' said. National interest for Italy was to TAKE ADVANTAGE of WW2 to make land grabs, Mussolini protested against Hitler's invasion of Poland, but he was forced into the war by signed agreements years earlier.
hitler was an extremely good leader and was very powerful. he was also quite the genius when u think about it, either way he did bad things so fuck him
Tons of rehashed Allied propaganda over the years, that's what really vilified the man lol You've got Muslim Extremists wanting to chop your face off, and you're still worrying about a guy that died 60+ years ago?
he knew what he was doing, even if he didnt know if it was right or wrong, it was wrong. he was a great man who abused his gifts and power.
Do you think Germany would have followed a "crazy" person to the very end? I say no, the german people saw something in him that we won't ever understand, so we call it crazy, a crazy genius. Think about how he took a poor broken country and made it great again. Made the people once again proud to be german. Thats not easy to do and yet some crazy guy did it back in the 30's. Of course he started world war 3 and put a genocide on the jews. But if you take all the bad away, what he did with germany was unbelievable. And you will never see it again.
i agree. morally he was a travesty. but as far as his achievement goes, anything we can compare to hitlers power would probably involve america, and america is no where near as awesome as th nazis, they just found themselves economically superpowered
Why do constantly stereotype extremists as Muslim? He is no more a part Muslim than he is the race of which you and I belong.
