First off, I am not saying that this question has any answer. But I guarantee it will make you think. I saw Dr. D quite some time ago. Anyway, I recently read his obituary online. So I know he is gone. Anyhow, Dr. D was a pretty obvious racist. I mean, in some cases people make you wonder. But in his case it was obvious. You know what I mean. And I certainly am not defending that. But Dr. D told me something interesting. He told me that he would always be there for me day or night. In fact, even if he was no longer my doctor, I could call him. And he'd be there for me. How many doctors tell you that? So all these years later, I am still confused. Was Dr. D a good person? Or a bad person? As I said, this is not a rhetorical question. Your answer may vary from others.
Ignorance is big here...MOST are very unlightened as to life and people and being human to everyone they come in contact with. My father was a racist but he didn't know any better...this is what he was taught... But otherwise he was a decent enough person and worked hard, didn't cheat, never cursed but ignorant.....
Gross, really necessary....OP was asking civil question and now there's a pitchfork involved....no wonder why there is so much anger in the world. Especially the U.S. and don't like to say that but rather true.
