Homeland Security has issued terrorists attacks as of now for New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. . They received valuable information to approve of this.(threat information).....SO therefore they said Bush may not make a statement or talk about this on camera. Let's face it, he's running for the hills that little chicken shit.

I bet they are gonna pull this shit during the debates, say that because of valuable threat information the debates have to be cancelled, just because they know bush will get the shit kicked out of him by kerry.

    Peace and Love,
    Dan

Yet more fear-mongering on behalf of the leaders of the New World Order that reside within the Bush Administration.

As election time draws near, you can expect more of this. They're basically telling us that we are going to be attacked again, for certain. This is their way of preparing us.

I'm not saying the threat of terrorist attacks to disrupt the election isn't legitimate, but think about it. Ever since 9/11 Bush has been using the threat of terrorism to enhance his approval rating. As the election gets closer you can bet we're going to hear about it more and more.

The RNC is in four weeks and a huge mob of protesters is expected to descend on New York City. It could be the most tumultuous convention since the 1968 DNC, in fact it might even surpass it.

Crowds of protesters in the streets + the publicized threat of terrorist attacks = police crackdowns!

Terrorists might not attack, they might just sit back and watch as paranoia makes Americans become their own worst enemies.

Why? Al Qaeda is obviously going to hit Italy next and probably a lot harder than they hit Spain.

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=586&e=2&u=/nm/20040801/wl_nm/security_italy_qaeda_dc

DUBAI (Reuters) - A militant group claiming links to al Qaeda has given Italy a 15-day deadline to withdraw its troops from Iraq (news - web sites) or face attacks, in a statement sent to the London-based al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper Sunday.

"We are mobilizing our cells everywhere in Rome and other Italian cities and we give (Italian Prime Minister Silvio) Berlusconi 15 days to withdraw from Iraq, said the statement signed by Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades -- al Qaeda Organization.

"After that we will not be responsible for any loss of lives," said the statement, made available to Reuters ahead of publication. Its authenticity could not be immediately verified.

"We had already sent you an earlier message asking you to withdraw from Iraq as soon as possible but have not seen anything yet ... and this is why the language of blood is on its way to you," the Arabic-language statement, which was addressed to Berlusconi's government and dated July 31, added.

The group has previously issued threats against European countries, saying it would start with Italy, for not responding to a three-month "truce" issued to European states by al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) which expired in July.

U.S. officials have said Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades links with al Qaeda are unclear.

Of course, just say Al qaeda in a phone call and it couldnt possibly be any other perpetrators!

I guess Al Qaeda must just love having the neo-cons in power to continue bombing the shit out of them (and countless thousands, nay tens of thousands of innocents as well).

Perhaps these extremists all have stock in Lockheed Martin and Haliburton, that must be it!

Can bush win if he doesn’t tell you he thinks there’s going to be an attack you will say he’s complacent and keeping secrets from you

And if his government tells you about possible attacks you say he’s doing it for political advantage

In the last ten years about a 100 countries have had either terrorist attacks from jihadis or plans that have been foiled

I really don’t see that the American government is doing all this they don’t seem that clever.

you really do have large numbers of Islam motivated terrorists and really it is only a matter of time before another attack

Bush is pretty predictable. People like that, and it's our greatest weakness.

Ah yes, and this ad, an anonymous arab looking man, is indeed credible proof of what Al qaeda wants. My god, you truly must think our intellgience services which have toppled countless governments and installed many more are complete buffons. How easy the public is spun. lol.

It almost scares me to say this, but I agree with LickHERish. Some liberal finds a picture of an Arab guy holding up something and Photoshops it into looking like an elect Bush sign. Credibilty at it's best. Not to mention in his four years as president Bush has already dismantled much of Al Qaida and put bounties on all of their key figures' heads who haven't already been killed. So they must, therefore, love the man.

I think the real question is....why on earth would Al-Qaeda hit New Jersey? NYC and DC...yes...but New Jersey??

Are they trying to take out the main consumer of hair spray or something?

I could see Pittsburgh or Detroit being more valid targets then Jersey.Actually I could see them taking out Las Vegas before anything.

Isnt Vegas the bastian of corruption, exploitation, greed, and lax morals??

I suppose if there's any substance to the rumors that it's a matter of Al-Qaeda just relishing causing havoc, but still I don't get why exactly they'd care much about our election or who wins. They'll hate us whoever's president. Whole scenario just seems too convenient for the Bush camp. Ah well, I'm wondering if I'll regret missing all this crazy shit to come while I'm gone overseas this fall.

Yes they do love it. They love the fact that US is alienating itself from the Arab world. I'm sure the recruitment for these terrorist organizations has never been as high as it is now. They must love the fact that they really don't have to attack anything to spread fear. They just have to post something somewhere. And the cycle of fear starts. They sit back and watch us instill fear in our own people.

I live in Jersey...their "plan", from what I heard, was to attack Newark, our biggest city and home of Newark Int. Airport. New Jersey is extremely densely populated (more people per square mile than any other state), and an attack would wipe out a large number of people within a small area. However, living mere miles from the NYC, we always hear of "attacks" being planned, and I do agree that unless there is SOLID CONCRETE evidence of an attack at a certain place at a certain time, this is essentially non-news.
