Would you suggest that we just keep on creating more and more reason for these people to become terrorists so that we can, much like with our economic woes, shovel the shit down to future generations? We could do a load of good just by re-evaluating our foreign policy and changing it up a bit. Less violence and dictator support, more humanitarian aid and support for democratic movements.

He's such a cool character though, some of his rhetoric might seem more subdued, said the use of chemical weapons was a 'game changer'. Videos or civilians frothing at the mouth from sarin hopefully will be a game changer

The reason that the Boston Bombing happened, was because the bombers were seeking revenge for the invasion of Iraq & Afghanistan(Muslim countries). The reason 9/11 happened, was because Bin Laden was seeking revenge for the U.S. foreign policies that has put military bases in every country in the Muslim world, and because the U.S. helped the Jews take Palestine away from them.

The U.S. created all these terrorists, and will create more by invading Syria. U.S. policies are perpetuating Armageddon. We are creating terrorists faster than we can kill them. They just aren't buying that we are killing them for their own good.

Let's see who can guess where and when the next terrorist bombing will take place. No fair picking a place and time, and then doing it yourself.

At least wait 'till we get out of asscrackistan. 2 wars at once has proven to be a strain. Has another crop of cannon fodder become old enough to continue the endless war that seems to be planned for us? Crank up the bullshit machine, please. We're not quite convinced. Maybe we should go to Africa this time. We've already pissed off enough people in the middle east.

Well, you'd be wrong. You don't know me, and I don't know you, so let's not make baseless assumptions about each other.

If the activist is to be believed, they could have easily arrested the guy.

Killing a bunch of innocent people to get someone you think might kill a bunch of innocent people... who is the terrorist in this situation?

    Invasion? Who said invasion?

What would your plan be? Send the Syrian people a sympathy card that says, "Good luck with your dictator!"?

Even though those 'baseless' assumptions would be fairly accurate? So why shouldnt she? How exactly is she wrong?

So drones cant guarantee some good guys arent going to get killed? No shit, lets blame the drones, not who,s controlling it or maybe some shitty intel from the ground.

Whats your alternative with Syria then?so she's right isnt she, send in ground forces which will be just as messy, if whilst a dem pres in charge you'll blame lack of funding.

If you don't think Obama has anything to do with it you're a fool. Just like he don't keep the other two going.

As for McCain being a "warmonger", He spent a few years in the Hanoi Hilton, The worst p.o.w. camp in Vietnam. This man is actually an American and fought for his country.

They all have a hand in it or it wouldn't happen, Plain and simple.

Sounds like you're happy with the U.S. being the big brother of the world, from your second and third questions. You happy with the outcome of the Iraq/Afghan wars too? Think Syria will turn out any different?

The warmongers are playing with fire thinking they can thwart Iranian influence in Syria by taking sides with the jihadists.

Hypothetically it would be really great if Assad and his faulty crew were killed by someone already a year ago. In reality it is not a good idea for a country who thinks they're the only ones who 'are on top of things' to commit itself to such an action. Yes, it would be better if there would be a league of arab nations who decided to get rid of this mass murderer and I think they can. Just because the states invests a lot in war technology and combat training does not mean other countries couldn't make the same effort if they'd go for it.

Fortunately, McCain and Graham don't get everything they want.

This post is just one page back:

I've made other similar posts recently about international participation.

I am nowadays, libya was handled rather quickly, and yes iraq and afghanistan are at very least not as fucked as they would have been. If its not the US, then who else, Russia and China dont seem to give a shit about anything

And we are supposed to just sit back and let this shit happen, its always the little people in these countries that suffer the most.

And i dont understand the argument that we shouldnt go to war cos of how it will hit our bottom line, if you add up every little step tue US is better off financially going to war. Throw $100 million into a war effort a higher percentage comes back into the home economy than say throwing a $100 million hand out to ordinary citizens, as they'll spend it at at wallmart on a bunch of stuff manufactured in china, and a lower percentage goes back into the home economy.

Shit is all far more complex than what political party your parents told you to follow

You obviously don't know what has happened in Iraq. Shrub took out Saddam, who was a Sunni Muslim. The Sunni's are the less radical Muslims. Now the Shiite Muslims run Iraq. Those are the same Muslims as in Iran and Syria. Get the picture?

And your promotion of of war for profit of the economy is a sick way to make a living, and is not in touch with reality. The Iraq war made hundreds of billions for the industrial military contractors, but cost the tax payer $3 trillion dollars. It also killed over 5,000 U.S. troops. Dying ain't a living. On top of that, another 50,000 are now half soldiers, with arms, legs and other body parts blown off, that will cost the tax payers billion$ more for the rest of their lives.

Since you favor war so much, you should go to the next one. C'mon, show what a patriot you are.

War helps every person out in the economy along with the country. Always has, Always will.

They sign up for the military, If they die, That's the chance they take to serve our country. The first time around all the kids signed up for free college money, But guess what? They actually had to put in work for once and go to war.

Only reason we owe 'trillions' is of obama and his "handouts" and every other person who HE sent free money to. His vacations are stupid high and the only president that don't own land to go to and camp david is not good enough for the bama's.

To each their own, It will help pay off a lot of nobama debt and help the common people.

Man Rush Limpballs really has you for a minion. FYI, Shrub added $3 trillion to the national debt with the Iraq war, and added another $3 trillion for welfare to millionaires. Shrub doubled the national debt in his eight years as POTUS. The money Obama has added to the debt, has been from digging us out of the hole Shrub put us in,when he collapsed the economy in 2007. Ranking presidents from best to worst, Shrub comes in 39th, Obama is 15th. So you're only fooling yourself.

A complete list of the rankings follows, with first being the best and 43rd worst:
