Wanting To Try Anal Masturbation

Don't lose your toy. That will be an embarrassing trip to the emergency room.

Start smaller, work up to larger things. Toys are better than non-traditional long thin things, make sure the toy has a bulb or handle or something that keeps it from going all the way in, and maybe getting lost.
Lube is your friend. If the toy is not made of silicone, use a silicone lube to help (do not pair silicone toys AND silicone lube-they do not play well together). Otherwise a good gel water-based lube.

I had a boyfriend who used to go to the produce dept to choose the perfect carrot. It was his go to toy. Just be sure you don't push it all the way in.
