I want some new clothes but no places around me sell what Im looking for. I love stuff that is bright and loud but also comfy...hate tight things. I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt but I want something new. Anybody know good places to look at?
You should look into buying a dashiki shirt....they have very bright, colorful patterns, and the style is made to be worn loosely. Super comfortable!
Check into etsy.com. They have some very crafty folks there. Some people might even do custom orders.
thrifts. some stuff ill be 80s, some 60s and some true vintage (I guess the 60s are vintage now, eh?) pop into a fabric store and look through the patterns so you have a mental picture of what you want. I especially reccomend folkwear patterns.
there is this store i found just the other day called fairy flower boutique and this lady makes all the clothes herself they are BEAUTIFUL they all look like something a real fairy would wearr but sooo soooo expensive i have the same problem i need new clothes but i cant ever find anything i actually like i love the clothes she makes but i could never afford it so im going to learn how to make it myselff
I am an Indian, and prefer to wear traditional dresses (salwar suit), try out one, I am sure it will be different for you and comfortable too. :cheers2:
Try in topshop, americanapparel, and karmaloop - I'm sure you'll love this place and variety of clothes. Or else you may just try any online shopping mall, where you can find deals, promotions from all popular online stores.
look in an online shopping malls like iStorez, PointShop, etc. ... there you can find lots of interesting items and best deals.. you may found there what you're looking for..
yeah...try out gypsyrose.com. it will probably say ''the site is under construction'', so just google search it and it will be the first option you can choose. to order stuff, you have to call them, because their online ordering thing is sorta messed up. the number is 1-888-gypsy. but yeah they sell tons of psychedelic and tribal type clothes that i couldnt resist to buy.
I have to ask lucyinthesky, do you live in the Marysville/Yuba City/Olivehurst area? I only ask because the only Value Village I know of is in Linda; I grew up in that area and I just find it ironic that someone else on this website would mention that little shop, lol :cheers2:
I might also mention www.swapstyle.com; this is a website where you can swap, buy, or sell clothes; it may not have what you're looking for, but at least it's another resource
