Allright everyone? Hello, I'm Cheshire Cat a.ka.Ellen, and I will be in London on January 10th, until the 16th. While I am there, I would so LOVE to meet and get together with some peaceful, loving and fun-loving people. The last time I was there ws just awful because of where I was staying and with whom. Looong story, too boring now anyway. But, this time I want to do things right. I want to do alot of non-touristy things, and I would like to see what the hippie or "subversives" do for fun and entertainment. Please get back to me, and I think we can have a real blast when we get together. I will be in Amsterdam for a week after that, so if you live there, please let me know as well. I want to meet locals and get in tune with the way they live, not just how spoiled we are in this country.I do love my country, but I do have every right (right now) to express my dismay over our beautiful country. So, if you are in Great Britain or Holland, please let's get in touch. I promise that I'm funny, a very, very loyal friend, and I want you to teach me about things in your world. We will have a great time, and you can show me all the things that you wish tourists would really see. I'm really looking forward to the whole trip. Alright, then. Cheshire Cat a.k.a. Ellen

Bin a while since I was in London, but I know a few good places in Amsterdam. Definately go to the Van Gogh Museum. Cheap to get in, and well worth the visit, even if your not an arty farty type, no pun intended. There is a bar in the Rembrandtplein, I dont remember the name, but they sell a great Absynth. Poured onto a sugar lump, then the sugar is set alight, and it all melts into the potion. Nice and sweet, will definately warm u up. Also, there is more to Holland than just Amsterdam, Utrecht has some nice chilled out bars n coffeeshops, and is'nt that far from Amsterdam. Also Den Haag is brilliant for nightlife, and not at all touristy, with some real nice buildings, (parliament and so)
hey, i'm living in waterloo and really want to go out exploring the local pubs /bars (havent had a chance yet, studying taking over my life hehe) if you want to join me let me know, we could get together peace, -shrimpgirl
