(i did her biz cards art and posters ' n stuff, plus good friend and have mutual friends etc.) She will hook you up with some drum circle kids, who will hook you up with anything that is happenin'. There should be some drummin' going on down at Patty's Level Green Farm on snyderville road, just a few miles from town headin' east. Just look for the drum circles there, and everything will fall into place. Since it is winter, they may be inside now, but there is an amazing brother named steve who heads up the drum circle group there. (google in drum circles ithaca,) should find him there.Ithaca is hippie central and there is strong support. Also try Loaves and Fishes downtown, (a great place to volunteer and get great food!) to just find good kids who are family. Hey theres this guy named Thor that lives there. He's setting up a hostel. He builds kick @ss domes at gatherings. He's a good bro. pm me and maybe I can hook ya up with his email. I've hung with him at like three gatherings now. You'll like him. From what I hear Ithaca is a pretty cool place to be. You prolly already know family and ya don't even know it.
hi sister crystaleyez, when I lived on patty's farm, Thor, brother James,was there.... yes he is an awesome dome builder. and drum crafter and awesome drummer, good brother too. glad to know he's doin' well, He built some sweet pens for patty's goats and chickens spring 04 and a lot of other wonderous willow crafty structures.
Heh haven't seen him since last March in Mexico. He had bank problems in the south and had to catch a bus to Mexico city to catch a plane the next morning. I loaned him fifty bucks or something(alot down south), thinking I might not ever see it again. He sent a cheque to my moms house in Saskatchewan. Good bro. He's definitly earned my trust and respect. I hope I see him this March.
