Want To Camp Near Portland For The Summer/fall

I really need a change of scenery and love Portland summers. When I was up there, all the camp spots were fee areas and had short stay limits.

Ideally, I'd like to find somewhere pretty and private but close to or in town. Posting up on a commercial lot somewhere in town would be something I'd be interested in too. I just need to hang out with some cool folks soon! Been alone in the dez for way too long!

It's just me and my old dog in a little RV and we're all set up to be off grid except for septic. I also have a 10x17 portable carport that I use for a workshop.


Anyone have any info about free camping for a few months up there? Anyone have a patch of land that I could rent/work trade on for a few months?
