I AM A HIPPIE I have been a Hippie for 40 yrs. I know what hippies are and what they did for you and if ya wanna play with the big dogs boys BRING IT..
If you think that hippies can't hold their own against know nothings or are scared of names or anything you can bring, you'd better think again. We survived Nam, racial upheavel, womens rights, the assionation of MLK ,both the Kennedys, the birth of rock n roll and the rest of the BS we had to indure from the PIGS..just to name a few.. we are the vetrens of the sisties and are due respect for our efforts. The hippies I knew were not lay down n take it humans.. they were KICK ASS humans, We faught back n got the shit beat plum from us so you could sit there n call us names. We faught for our constitutional rights n got killed for it so you could have the right to sit here and try to inflect pain on us..the boys that the government drafted to Nam were hippies too.. they didn't wanna kill, they were out in the coolies getting high on the local inticements. Most of the ones that made it back dropped out or was sent to phyche hospitals some went to the right.. what I want to know is what have you done or what are you trying to do to improve anythings, what are you about. If you can't commicate without ridiculing and that's all you have to offer.. then you have nothing of any worth..

So some good things happened in the 60's... it's not like your fad get all the credit. Those were long hard battles fought for decades by people who cared deeply about the causes, hippies just showed up in the 60's picketing, and thinking they were doing something more significant because they were on a lot of drugs.

You weren't shot at... how exactly wouldn't you have survived... because society didn't collapse after some important men were shot... how meladramatic are you hippies? Are you going to say hippies landed on the moon next? You're not personally responsible for a decade.

Rock and Roll was started by blacks in the late '40s and early 50's, and the hippie movements musical contribution left much to be desired.

I had it all summed up for u.. but was asked to simpilfy it so I did and in the process I deleated major points..
First of all. If we 'hippies" werent out there in the sisties demonstrating for our/your rights and getting laws changed and passed.. you would not be here using your 5th ammendment
Second,- your nor your running buddies know anything about the civil rights movement except what you learn in school, which by the way only shows a section of what really went on.
Third -Yes there were a lot of people that went through it too.. but not you or your chums and ask the universe who they think paved the way for you unapperciatives who sit on your butts and rag everything attitude.
Fourth -I have a carear I have been healing the sick and inferm for 30 yrs. I charge for my services for the ones that can afford it and give it freely to the ones that can't. I pull cancers from the human body and I charge nothing for this service to my fellow human beings.. but your cancer is possibly uncurable
Fifth and final- I am here to offer hope and courage to the ones that are trying to make the world a better place to live in with out the sarcasium.
I belive you have good quailities.. why don't you shine some light on your positive adtributes instead of all the negitivity you vomit out in these forums..
