I'm in my early 40's and I work out a lot - eat a lot and train very hard. Can anyone explain to me this? I notice women and men stare at me when they talk to me one on one - their eyes wander down and look at my body and they are like talking to my tummy - I don't mind at all and really like it actually however they tend to focus on my bad parts like on my stomach a lot which is a bit out of proportion. I also really like it when an older lady looks at me, as I think they have the most fussy taste so its a big compliment to me.
Body presentation with wide shoulders, narrow waist, and thick thighs attracts vision to the middle areas. Plus it's a little intimidating if the person with whom you are speaking isn't as developed. I've experienced the same at my peak of athleticism between the ages of 35 and 55. My avatar picture was taken when I was in my early 40's. You probably have the makings of what is desired either by other men wanting to look as you do or women appreciating the strength that is on display. I often catch people still looking away from my face even though age has settled in and softened the hard cut I used to have. Enjoy but don't flaunt the envy and don't worry about what people look at.
Is it your stomach or is it your groin area ? I do attract a lot of attention when out and about and I consider myself to be in very good shape . The women I see ,tend to look at the face first then the groin area and the back up again . Its only at this point they notice my partner usually lol . Its my partner who notices them more than me and she gives them a hands off dirty look. Men stareing at you is generally a sign of jealousy . I do get that a lot as well . But on saying all of this it is dam hard work as I work out everyday when I come home from work and TBH there are some days I just feel like lying on the couch and watching. the TV . So as well as hard work it it also disciplined as well . At weekends I do long walks with my partner as well . My motto is work hard then play hard .
Human nature dictates that we want what we can't or don't have. Schlubs are everywhere but a muscularly developed or naturally endowed person is out of the ordinary so people tend to hold on to that sight when one comes into view. Certain parts of our bodies are covered due to cultural rules. So when a skimpy bikini is worn by a blessed body all eyes go to the forbidden areas. Example: My wife wears yoga pants with thong panties. When we walk on the beach and there are cute guys walking behind us she will say "watch their eyes." Then she stops and bends down to tie her shoes. The yoga pants become transparent on her ass and you can see her thong. She loves it when the guys stop and not so quietly say, "Daaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmm." Then we quietly chuckle together. So the moral to this story is put in some effort, work out, eat less and you can create a body that others will tend to enjoy looking at. And you will most likely catch their look and strike up a conversation. So close your laptop and your refridgerator and get out there and quit complaining that you can't get laid.
