Hi there! I'm new here. =)

Anyways. I am truelly a 100% in spirit and mind (i belive everyone is deep inside anyways, hehe). I live in sweden and I am getting really sick of life here. I dropped out of college and have now been working on telephone customer service for a satelite dish company. And it sucks.

Anyhows, I am waiting to take these horrible braces out of my mouth, and then i will deffiniatly be on my way. Somewhere. Wherever. I have a dream and plan to just wander aboud, city to city.. country to contry.. See places and meet people. After selling my apartment I am thinking of getting a van of somekind, as a kind of mobile home and just drive around to the places i want to see =)

Now. A problem arises. Money during travels. I only need money for food (raw vegan diet) and probably petrol. Any tips and ideas on how to financially support this kind of traveling lifestyle?
Small part time jobs maybe? Making necklaces? Pickpocketing? (abit un-hippylike perhaps haha)

    Any ideas?

Any other people who live this way?

Any people who WANT to live this way?

    Peas!
    =)

there's a forum farther down in the list called outdoor living and whatnot

it's got a sticky in there that is full of tips on how to live on the road and make some easy cash, find some cheap meals, and things of that nature

it's really great, i'd suggest giving it a read

I've always wanted to wander too, but have always felt tied down by something. Right now it's college. It's hard getting the motivation to just pick up and leave, but I hope I get it someday. Good luck in your rambles.

without a vehicle its much easier. iv been on the road for about 3 years now, (off and on) and you really dont need money for the most part. (you'll learn quick enough that food is free, though being a raw foodist you may have a harder time.) i dont know how to sucessfully make money on the road other than stopping for a while and working. purchasing gasoline is going to drain your funds fast, though i understand the comfort of a vehicle.
its easy to find temperary work. look for older people doing yard work and just ask if you can help, dont even mention money. at the end of the day they'll hook you up with what they think is fair. or they might not, and that is also fair as far as im concerned.(a little karma yoga never hurt anyone.) or if your in a hip town, street performaning can work great (you a musician?), or selling your crafts. the thing about money though is when you need it, you'll have it. its best not to worry so much.
