Or, just boycott Walmart, cause that's about how all their stuff is made. I haven't been in a Walmart in many years. I'm involved in the fight to keep them out of my town now.
M family and I boycott walmart for over 5 years now. And every time someone says : go to walmart, we say "we don't shop at walmart because of---" I've even gone to thier website and emailed them why I would never shop there. I get frothy at the mouth whenever I think about walmart! And it's a real challenge here, as it's like the center of the universe. It's so sad to see people get off the cruise ship, walk up the street and get their tourist trap trophies at walmart. ga uke:
Wal-Mart Christmas Ornaments Made Under Illegal Sweatshop Conditions in China Everything in the world is made in a sweatshop in China!! We need to start looking at the big picture. Wallmart is the absolute least of our troubles right now. We should be trying to block the north american union and getting rid of the federal reserve system and totally redesigning our election process...
I would recommend that everyone watch the movie "walmart: high costs for low prices" i think that it is a very good movie and helps depict the truth. Edit: here is actually a link that you can watch it at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3836296181471292925
Like cashmere from China, it's destroying the earth. Research that, it's pollution on a major scale. Just so people can have cheap cashmere. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/specials/chi-china-special,0,6789511.special
What are we against??? Sweat shops in China or any other country??? Who cares?!?! If China had the opportunity to switch position with the U.S.,would you really think they'd give a shit if we worked for $0.25 an hour producing inexpensive x-mas ornaments, clothing, toys, etc. for them??? They'd be more than happy spending less money for christmas or any other occassion!!! We need to start focusing on what's convinient for our nation and/or ourselves.
