Ever since the walmart here went supersize, every other craft and fabric store in town has run out of business. It fucking sucks, because walmart has such a shitty selection of everything...no good beads, most of the fabric is shit, and their yarn is all baby stuff. What sucks even more is that I don't have a credit card, so I can't order anything online. Does anyone else have this walmart problem?
no i got a walmart right next to a jo-anns and jo-ann's is closing and moveing right next to my house im so excited
i went into michaels once and i had to use my "mind over body" thoughts, it was like tearing my arm off having to leave i actually thought about what it would be like to get "lost" in there after they closed, i would do all of the crafts
as a former associate for walmart stores incorporated let it be known that walmart will see me in a picket line outseld of there store everytime they are being protested...that place is evil....pure evil.....
There are 5 "stupid"centers in the town that I live in,and I pride myself in the fact that I have been thrown out of 3 of them. The reasons being for voicing my opinion against their bullshit moral majority attitude, all the while they are bringing the downfall of all the individual smaller owned businesses. They under cut prices for profits while fucking their employees out of any meaningful wages or benefits. Their CD's are censored, what gives them the right to play this part on regulating what people listen to.If I am not misstaking there are already laws(bullshit)on mandating the labels on the content of music, yet "wally-world"deems it fit to further control the music industry. If you are a NASCAR fan,and collect die-cast cars.Wally world even controls this aspect.Any car that has a beer sponsor,is not painted true to life, because they(wal-wart)say that their toys will not promote alcohol products to kids.Yet these are made to be collectables, not if they are not accurate. But doesn't wally-world sell beer and alcohol? What kind of double standard is this?FUCK wal-mart. The list goes on,wal-mart is the biggest bullshit organization, besides the American government, that reaches from coast to coast. And now is expanding into the international sector.FUCK wal-mart. What really sucks is that,a mass boycotte of wal-mart wouldn't make a dent or any sort of impact on changing their business practices.Getting people to do it would be next to impossible, the general public is so lame that they don't pay any attention to the realities of the fucking that is going on by wally world. Enough rambling for now,FUCK wal-mart,FUCK wal-mart,FUCK wal-mart!!!!
wal-mart is evil. i live in a smallish community, and i am determined they are out to take over the community and make all of us their drones.
That's terrible to hear but I don't know if you can directly blame Walmart because IMO their craft selection and fabric selection is awful. I never shop there for that stuff. Neither does anyone I know. With that being said all of us support our other local craft and fabric stores and keep them in business. There aren't too many people I know that are all that into crafting or sewing anyway and I think that in itself is what's making a lot of these places close their doors as opposed to Walmart.
i am going to bomb all the walmarts in the world someday for their evil deeds. i swear that smiley face thing is the devil incarnate.
lmao....ahh yes my favorite quote in the world...."walmart...the home of cheap plastic crap"..mucho true..oh yeah and if u bomb walmarts make sure my fiance isnt in the store working pleez...lol
lol.... we just had the grand opening of our "super" walmart... havent been there yet cuz i figured there would be too many dumb people there running around like mindless seaguls goin "mine! mine! mine!" But i'll probably go there when i get paid and check it out at least once, they got decent clothing at cheap prices, but then again i do need furniture... so maybe i might goto goodwill 45min away from here..... yea that sounds better... Fuck wally world
i got my shoes from wal-mart..... but in general, their stuff is pretty bad. the only good thing is that its cheap. luckily, there r more stores where i live.
