I get paranoid when I walk to school because its usually just a little bit dark out still and its so quiet and any sudden sound/movement I jump and I'm looking over my shoulder constantly.

I've never been a fan of walking to a place that I hate so much..and just want to be rid of, but with disregard to the whole "school" thing...I find mornings to be peaceful....If your fearing something, your in a moment that' seems to be toying with your other senses..the next time you fear anything, imagine a hot steaming cup of coffee..distract yourself with nature..the humming...the gentle bustle of people leaving for work, and take pride in the fact your alive...or put on some headphones!
I for one use em as doors to escape the overcrowded hallways in my highschool..
I hope the serenity overpowers your fear. :)

    peace-

thanks, another thing i get paranoid is there are always people walking their dogs and i always get paranoid that the dog is going to start running after me and bite me or something...i've always had bad experiences with dogs, and anytime i hear a jingle of a keychain i think its a dog

Oh, i know what you mean...whenever I see a dog without a leash just roaming about freely..i cant help but think of some of the awful things that could happen..
Animals can sense fear. So i walk on ahead and hope for the best...but also take into consideration when you see these dogs that are on a leash...be thankful that they are "on a leash" these dogs are people's pets and most often they just get excited to see someone new to sniff, so dont worry about it.:)
