Winter has been pretty mild this year. Hard to get snow photos.

    A somewhat wintery photo:

I was just razzing Expanse about his "winters". I should have told him he's posting in the wrong season thread. :-D He's probably wearing a hoodie while I've got on a parka, 2 sweaters under that, snowpants, a toque, scarf, mitts, and boots complete with cleats. Half the day is gone by the time I'm ready to go outside.

I rather wear just the hoodie :p. I hate the cold. I'll take the mild winter over a snowy one.

I'll take the mild ones AND the cold snowy ones!

It's been really mild here. We got snow a couple of days ago, but it didn't last long once they sun came up.

-I'm not trying to rub it in for you all in the really cold, really snowy places, :D-

The weather here is crazy. We could have 18 inches of snow one day, then have shorts and t-shirt weather a few days later. I'll definitely post some snow when it appears. I'll try not to post shorts and t-shirts :D

Since we're doing winter wonderland shots, here's one of our cabin in central Oregon, taken on 22 January 2017 (about 1-1/2 weeks ago).

The snow is about 4-1/2 ft. deep. (Thank God for 4-wheel drives!)

I had a nice mosey (dang ice) at the lake today. It was cold and pretty windy. You can see the snow blowing in the park and if you look closely it's blowing off the lake too. I wanted to stay out longer because the sun was shining but the cold drove me in early.

:D it definitely has been a while since we've had a bad winter, although I've seen several in my lifetime(our bad ones are like your average omes).

I'm still waiting for a good snow so I can post snowy pictures.

I need to find my good camera - I think it's in the pocket of my winter jacket; but I haven't gotten it out to wear in years. :D just kidding.

lol I believe it. I don't even want to take any more pics. I can't tell you how sick of the stuff I already am. Yesterday it was all ice and puddles. At least I was wearing runners and track pants. I felt sorry for a woman who had to step into a huge puddle wearing nice work slacks and leather boots. I think we should swap houses for a couple of months and you can enjoy this crap wonderful weather to your hearts delight. :-D

    That's a beautiful area, Moon!

I might trade you my lake for your winter weather. (You pay return postage when you return it demanding your weather back.)
