Perfect look out there for the first day of winter. Not too bad on the snow, but a lot of ice. It was actually a lot warmer today than it has been for the last two weeks so at least the ice on the jogging/walking path was gone. It was a sunny day and fairly dry. I hope we have a lot more days like it this winter. These red twig dogwoods are going to look gorgeous once they're bigger. My sad attempt at a panoramic shot. I'm so bad at them. They always have a dip to them. I don't know how y'all can follow that straight line.
My panoramic shots are like that too. Like a fish eye right in the centre or something. It's like... oh come on it's not even possible to look like this.

Me too. It feels very peaceful and quiet. Good place to be when i want to be outdoors and alone, and escape the city life style for a brief time.
Yes same cemetery, different sections. In the last 2 pics there are just slight differences but hard to see from that angle.
probably one of those cemeteries with all kinds of restrictions. they wouldn't all be that similar by coincidence. i really don't get why some cemeteries do that; it never makes them look any better. the first picture looks like a beautiful place to visit your dead loved ones, while the others are more like the cemetery version of those housing developments where every house looks the same except for some minor detail here or there. i kind of understand the cemeteries that say you can only have the in-ground stones; obviously the convenience of mowing is just way more important than people's dead family members. i don't agree, but i get it. what i really don't get is the places that say things like you can't put flowers on a grave, or something completely innocuous like that. i don't even see what they're trying to accomplish here. same with a cemetery that seems to have pretty strict dimensional requirements for new graves. for the record, i'm not knocking your pictures at all. it's still a pretty view, it just put my mind on another tangent.
How do you put images in your thread big like that? I always get little thumb nails Nice winter photos all.
