for the past few weeks, I have been waking up throughout the night hallucinating. it doesn't scare me at all, and I'm conscious of it happening. I'll actually just stare at whatever I'm seeing for about ten seconds, think 'hm' and fall back asleep. really the only reason I'm even thinking about it now is because last night I woke up and was positive something was on the ceiling and was going to fall on my head. so, what did I do? laid my pillow on the foot of the bed and flipped around. my girlfriend woke up and was like 'wtf? why are you laying backwards on the bed?' so I told her about my little adventure the night before. she thinks it's stress, could be. I could also be going crazy. and yes I use drugs but haven't been taking any psychedelics. any of you experienced this phenomenon?
everything i wrote just disappeared.. anyway, i said.. yeah i hallucinate a little all the time. not anything crazy. like seeing shit that isn't there. but very subtle. like when i look at something for long enough, it'll begin to move. like my blinds.. and i know it isnt just the wind, cause when i stop moving my eyes they stop moving too.
that's from psychedelics. what I'm talking about though is full blown hallucinations. like a horse chillin in my room, or a wolf dog just standing there staring at me. and I won't think it's abnormal while seeing it. hopefully that fucking cat I just buried isn't haunting me or some shit. that would be just my luck
my roomie in college dosed me while i was sleeping... i told him to do it randomnly on the weekend some time. best trip ever. best day ever.
I have had this sorta thing happen and I've never touched any of that crazy stuff. It's a sleep disorder.
Lol. It's like those people who wake up staring at an alien in their room. Mainly it would happen when I was stressed. I'd see odd things. My body woke up but my brain was dreaming. I was also calm. The scary one was sleep paralysis combined with the shadowy stranger. But it happened often enough I stopped being scared.
Have you been ill at all? I used to hallucinate like that when I was a little kid and had a high fever.
not that I know of. low energy, almost lethargic. but no fever as far as I can tell. I don't have a thermometer to check it either
Well, you'd pretty much know if you had a fever that would make you hallucinate. It's up there with bad flu fever. The only other time I've ever had hallucinations like that is a couple of years ago when me and the bf did mushrooms 2-3 times a week for about a month and a half. Life was one big hallucination!
I've been there. Was an awesome few months. But after I stopped the next couple sure did suck.
