wake n bake gone wrong!!

holy shit that went bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! ok so im high as any descent man could be right now and shit!!!!!!!!!!! i was right in the middle of typing the huge thread about god knows what ill try to remeber it here in a minute and my dad walks down and goes into the bathroom right next to me that i just chiefed in!!! heres my basement setup so you know:

and theres just a thick smell of reefer in the air and my dad admited that he use to smoke weed back in the day(so he would know) but hes a hypocrit and will kill me.

So heres my old thread that I had to X out of but i did it after my dad walked by, looked at the screen and prob saw the backround dammit:

so i wake up at about 8:45 this morning and I woke up, even though it was about 5 hours before I usually do in the morning. Any ways I go upstairs to the top floor and brush my teeth and wash my face. so i decide to make an apple and spark a bowl. and ive broken two pieces in the last month so i might have to apple it for a while. so I come down in my basement and chief and everything is going good. Then out of no where my dad comes down and just goes in the bathroom and he didnt even go to the bathroom or anything and he goes what were you smoking in here and i was just like man cuz hes cought me with cigs but not weed and i was liek i wasnt its cleaner i think.

wow man but he knew i just dont know im not likin this situation hes right up stairs and its all awkward i just wanna leave.

oh yea and theres more to this thread I need help with two problems of mine
1. what should i do about school I kind of wanna go to internet school because I just have such a hard time in school and getting up in the morning. But, on the other hand I have a lot of friends at my school and im pretty popular I guess(not tryin to be gay here just telling every one of my situation so you can help me out) any how so i dont know what i should do and if i went to internet school I could do shit like go snowboarding and play poker online which brings me to my next point.

2. I want to know if any one out there plays poker seriously at all would you think I should choose it as my career becasue im good and I love it so much I think it would be a cool carreer. also, I made $1,300 over break with my brothers ID in the casino.

All I'm trying to say is that if you have enough self-confidence and you really want to and know how to, you might as well do it, you know what I mean? No need for insult.

 

the whole structure of the school system is to educate you in the basic fields such what are known as acedemics and extra curicular activities. Even if you think some of them will be completely pointless. Right now you can be interested in having a career involving Poker and you could work more on that goal but if you later in life loose all interest in that subject and want the complete opposite, example: a math teacher. You could be like: "oh, damn i wish i paid as much attention in math class as I did into learning the career options involving poker" You still gotta balance the rest of school with your main interests, you know?

 

I remember one time I waked and baked, this was at the time i was looking for a job, and 5 minutes after i smoked an employer called and asked me for an interview, and i was so high I accepted, somehow thinking there was no way it could be reshedualed...so i drive over there and i was still so high...

I didn't get the job lol

 

All the cool kids play poker online lmao... yea im 16 also... and recently got caught by my mom... but both my parents do it.. I dropped out of highschool in september.. and Im about to start a different school in a couple days... and yea sorry to hear about your wake n bake... my worst wake n bake.. was when me and my friend got up.. after a previous night of.. tons of toking.. went to the basement... and started doing buckets *aka gravity bongs*... and after a few.. I took one more.. and I started coughing real hard.. and ended up spitting blood out.. but anyways sorry to hear bout ur interesting story

 

I know this dude who plays online poker and has made a few hundred dollars within the past couple of months. It's not enough to live on but it certainly helps out. If you decide to "choose it as your career" you would not be making any real money until you started to make it to the BIG tournaments. You would be able to make a bit of money to help you out while you have another job, but poker alone will not work.

 

i wish i could wake and bake... inhaling anything in the morning makes me nauseous

 

man if u are set on poker as a career (yes a little strange but if you must) then go to a dealer school where they teach you all of the casino games and then get a job dealing in a casino and play you rpoker on the side until you have enough to support yourself. i think there is one or two in vegas and there are a couple in atlantic city.

well....that sucks about your dad and all....but poker? c'mon....in a few days you can loose thousands of dollars because it already seems you have a gambling issue, and you can either loose a grand or make a couple houndred-to a grand, i dont like those odds for a career that i need to support my life, just stay in school and at least get a high school deploma where its eisier to actually get a job and make money and not risk loosing it, if that made sence

 

yea thanks for the advice every one. I think what im gonna do is get a real job that pays ill make a descent living and play high stakes poker on the side not as my main career but as a way to make extra money. But if i ever strike it rich maybe i can make it my main career. As for getting busted yesterdya othing happened my dad came down and smelt it and asked what i was smoking and then never brought it up? wierd.

you could get some crap job, and if you're good at poker, you could live off either. No one worries about losing a crap job because there's always more to be had, and that way you are less tied down.

the people on all the big world poker tours are SMART

they are like doctors, scientests, etc. they all have big careers or professions which they use to back poker

so for 1 thing, they have enough money to bully you into the ground

and 2nd, some stoner kid is not gonna outplay people much smarter than them especially in a game like poker
