This is copied from my blog:

Hello dreamers I'd like to share with you a secret.

I go to sleep for 4-6 hours and wake up.
I then read my dream journal,(stimulates the brains dream memories) maybe pee or something,
and then lay back down in my bed, wherever it may be.

From there, I relax my breath.my body.my mind and slowly lower my brain frequency and slip into the lower levels of consciousness.
After a while strange visions occur, I see and hear people, things, hypnagogic geometry.
The deeper we go the more vivid this inner world becomes.
One thing to keep in mind:
Don't get lost in one of those visions, they will steal your awareness and take you back to sleep.
You have to step back, in your mind, and watch all of this occur. Like some weird random movie.

Sometimes it takes 20 seconds, sometimes it takes 20 minutes, but after a while I begin to feel floaty and buzzing...
    At this point

    SLEEP PARALYSIS OCCURS!!!!!!!

Yes yes. What I do to induce sleep paralysis is when I'm at this point, I simply move my eyes upward and look up.
I'm immediately BLASTED out of my body.
    It's like dimethyltryptamine but inverted.
I hear severely loud explosions and I want to twitch and scream so bad but I can't move my body.
It's kind of scary at first, but you'll learn to love it.

This is an amazing mode of consciousness that is linked to alien abduction (haha makes so much sense)
and when you are in this state
you can do anything you want!!

You can go anywhere! multiply yourself! talk to aliens, have amazing sex, draw and open doors, vomit green plants, conduct an orchestra...............
the possibilities of imagination are endless,
and this simple little ritual that YOU ALL CAN DO is a way to transcend your imagination into "reality" by what feels like leaving your body, even though you're just crawling deep inside.

    *******

So there you have it. Wake induced lucid dreaming. WILD.
    Has anyone else done this?
I do it frequently, and have the most bizzarre and intense visions.
IMO, I think this is PARTIALLY caused by endogenous DMT.
I posted this in the dream tribe to hopefully inspire some of you to try it,
I would love to hear your experiences and help out any way I can.

    Sweet dreams, fellow monkeys :]

I dare any of you to try this.

I've gotten dozens of people to blast into the astral realm with this technique.

    So I'm curious.
Has anyone had any luck exploring the astral realm during sleep paralysis?

    Do it,
let me know where you go and what you see.

    When you enter sleep paralysis
it's so loud it will scare you

just close your eyes and look up out the top of your head....

    That's not quite sleep paralysis.

When you are ripped out of your body and you hear explosions and you want to scream but you can't

then you'll know you've reached the first step

and you can get to work

    I can help you out.
    Just follow my instructions carefully.
You can also google wake induced lucid dreaming for more techniques
this is just the way I found it to work most effectively every time.

    Your sleep patterns are essential.

Make sure you sleep for about 6 hours before you try this.

Sometimes even 4 works. 6 works best for me.

native american used to drink water before bed to wake up in the middle of sleep to pee. Its called the indian alarm clock. Sometimes used to wake up for a battle. Or hunting. Im just wondering if its the simular. I do so weird stuff in my sleep, I go to sleep with a positive change for the next day. Anything thats going to better the next day. Ill meditate on it. Relationships or life in general.

Most dreams are interactions of the days Ive been or the days Ill be.. I can change what will be in reality by dreaming it to be good and a step forward in my life.. but To many good days lead to one bad.
    Its the way it is.
    I only sleep 4 hours a day.. Then a day of a 6 or 8.. but mostly 4.

    Interesting,
but no that's not what I'm talking about at all here.

We have developed a technique so that when your body enters sleep paralysis (You'll know when this happens. You will literally hear explosions so loud you will want to scream and get up and run, but you can't move your body, you can't speak a word. Your consciousness detaches from your body)
we can slip out of our body
and into other dimensions . .

Ive heard these explosions. But I see like these bubbles of color or one giant bubble with a hole in the center. Its bright usually orange. Beyond that is everything. But cant focus long. I usually lose myself then and sleep.

    Please do!
Let me know where you go, and what you hear.
I am very interested in how other people react to this.

And if you ever have some time, I would love to hear about some of your tribes techniques, if that's not asking too much.

    dream sweet :D

Yes, but that will go away once you have entered sleep paralysis, look up, and blast away

i prefer to drift or float gently into my astral travels. i usually "feel it coming on" during a point in my day. it becomes harder and harder to stay "conscious" and i feel my mind ready to shed the confines of this box of a body, and when i allow myself to relax, i'm gone, in some other place. no loud bangs, no traumatic anything... i'm just somewhere else, doing whatever else. this is usually when my higher self is giving me information, so i often don't try to control what goes on when i'm astral.

i once got "pulled" astral while driving and wrecked my car. i'm very careful when i feel that tug now.
